Palace Press Officer Claire Castro clarifies govt 'master plan' against floods.

The Aquino-Singson flood control master plan was a multibillion-peso blueprint created during the administration of the late president Benigno Aquino III by then-Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) secretary Rogelio Singson. She added that the administration was studying the need to update existing master plans to mitigate the effects of climate change. The president said on Sept. 2 that a master plan has existed for decades but nothing was done to implement it.
