00:00G'day guys, welcome back to another video from beautiful Hua Hin, Thailand. It is currently
00:06coming towards the end of wet season here, which generally runs from around end of May
00:13to the beginning of December, I think is a rough sort of estimate. It can vary depending on which
00:21part of Thailand you're in. But we get a lot of people asking us in DMs and comments whether or
00:27not it's worth coming here during wet season or if they should stay away and just come during the
00:34peak periods, which is like December through to March. And to be completely honest, this is our
00:41first full wet season here and it's been pretty awesome. Like you do get some rainy afternoons
00:48and it can be quite overcast and windy, but in general, like the sun comes out pretty much
00:54every day. We've been swimming in our pool every single day during wet season. We've gone to the
01:01beach a bunch. We did a trip up north to Changdao and Pai, which was awesome. Even though it rained,
01:08it was still amazing. And one of the actual best things about wet season here in Thailand is that
01:15everywhere is a lot more quiet. So today we're going to be taking advantage. We're actually heading
01:21down to the Hilton Hotel and Resort here in Hua Hin. We've never been before. We're going to get a
01:27day pass, which is 450 baht and you get to use their gym and their pool and all the facilities
01:34like
01:34tennis court, sauna, everything for the whole day. And they also put on a buffet on Sunday, which is
01:42like an all you can eat dim sum buffet. So we're going to try that out as well. And we're
01:46going to show you
01:47guys what it's like to spend a day here in Thailand during wet season. Is it worth it? Let's check
01:53it out.
02:22Thanks, everyone.
02:26Bye.
02:34Bye.
02:37Bye.
02:37Bye.
02:39Bye.
02:40Bye.
02:41Bye.
02:57Alright we just finished the workout at the gym, burned some calories, they had a really
03:03cool sauna there that had like eucalyptus water to throw on the rocks which was good
03:08and we're just waiting to have the all-you-can-eat dim sum buffet it's not
03:14open yet it's supposed to open in like 10 minutes. Hopefully it opens soon.
03:18Open? Okay. Book? Oh we didn't book, no. We have to book? Yeah, yes please.
03:38They're so cool. Honestly the whole reason we came here was for the dim sum buffet, I'm not gonna lie.
03:54Yeah those, you want those? Yeah. I want them really bad for some reason, the texture.
04:00Ooh, pork buns. Yeah, and some of them. Yeah, oh my gosh I'm so excited right now.
04:08We have three hours to eat all we want. This is wild. What is that?
04:15Stepped lychee with prawn. There's lots of prawn things on. You even craving prawns. I know, this is so exciting.
04:22Ooh, mango pudding looks really good too. And a little iced tea.
04:29Best. Okay. What are we starting? Let's start with those dumplings.
04:35Yeah, do you want to feel it out? No. I'll read off what we're getting.
04:40Yeah, it's named prawn dumplings.
04:41One dumplings for a gal? Uh, it comes with three it looks like.
04:45Okay. And I just do one because there's so much stuff here, right? Okay. Pork buns?
04:48Oh, I want a barbecue pork bun, yeah. Yeah, me too.
04:52All right, it's so much stuff here, eh? Do you want to take a walk outside while we're waiting?
04:56Yeah, it's so beautiful. Okay, let's check it out.
04:59When people think about filming cinematic videos, they often imagine using large cameras and lenses,
05:06but thanks to Filmora, you can create high-quality video using just the smartphone in your pocket.
05:12Here's five quick tips to help you capture cinematic footage using just your smartphone and Filmora.
05:17Tip number one. Make sure your camera settings are set to 4K resolution and a frame rate of 24fps.
05:25If the video quality is poor due to incorrect camera settings, you can always use Filmora's AI video enhancer during
05:31video editing to make blurry footage cleaner.
05:35Tip number two. Try using a stabilizer and basic camera movement techniques such as pushing, pulling, panning and tracking shots.
05:43Tip number three. When filming with your smartphone, if you're just capturing random scenery without a purpose, the footage can
05:50feel a bit dull.
05:51So try to include people in your shots to make the video more engaging and story-driven.
05:57However, sometimes unwanted people might appear in your shots. In this case, you can use Filmora's AI object remover.
06:05Tip number four. For beginners who want to achieve cinematic quality color grading, this can be easily done using Filmora's
06:12AI color palette feature.
06:14And finally, tip number five. For beginners, selecting the right music can be a time-consuming task.
06:21Filmora's smart BGM generator can automatically generate background music based on the content of your video.
06:28So, if you'd like to try Filmora for yourself, we'll leave a link down below in the description.
06:56It's a little bit windy. Hopefully you can hear us, but the view here is epic.
07:01There's nobody here. It's just us.
07:13So, this also turns into a rooftop bar in the afternoon.
07:18And it's pretty cool. The view here is like these...
07:22There's the fishing wharf and all these fishing boats down here.
07:26And then you can see the pool down here as well.
07:29Let's go.
07:30Let's go.
07:31Let's go.
07:32Let's go.
07:56I hate when you film me into chopsticks I'm just using my hand, aren't you?
08:09I'm going to do it round two until we can't fit anymore
08:30Okay, ironically this video is about how good wet season is in Thailand and it just started raining heavily
08:40I don't think it'll last very long though, usually it only rains like half a year
08:44So we're going to wait it out here in the restaurant
09:00This might be it, are you eating enough?
09:02I think so
09:04Okay, we're all finished and I'm just going to pay the bill but the waitress told me that if you
09:09join as a Hilton member, which is free, 25% off
09:15So we just got 25% off our bill
09:20So it's usually 750 bars, probably going to be like 600 or something like that
09:25Yeah, that was incredible
09:27One of my favourite meals of all time
09:29We're definitely coming back here
09:30I say that all the time
09:33We're going to head down to the pool, it stopped raining, only took about 20 minutes like usual
09:38And the sun's coming out so we're going to see what the pool's all about
09:40You said there was more than one?
09:43Yeah, I think there was like three pools and a couple of bars
09:46I'm going to get a coffee and then go for a spring
10:04I might be hungry now that's who it is
10:06Look at this chocolate croissant
10:09Look at that
10:10Oh my
10:13We're getting one of them, I don't care what you say
10:15I want
10:16I want to
10:17I want to
10:18I want to
10:18I want to
10:19I want to say four
10:21I know, same
10:31Should we get closer to the ocean?
10:33Yeah, I'm just going to get a travel over here
10:35Okay
10:58Okay
10:58Yeah, made a travel over here
10:59There we go.
11:37So as you can see rainy season here is not that bad, Lloyd and I actually prefer it a
11:44lot of times just because the temperature like today's been perfect all day except
11:49for yeah 20 minutes of rain so you can actually lay outside without cooking but we've been
11:58here for a few hours we're gonna head home now it's really awesome how many of these
12:03hotels and resorts have day passes so we're gonna see how many we can check out
12:08even maybe another one this week we'll see but thank you guys if you've made it
12:13this far thank you so much for watching don't forget to hit the like button and
12:15subscribe and we'll see you in the next one bye
