00:06to show you some unprecedented things, something that God might be doing in Brazil and you might
00:11not be noticing yet. In fact, you probably already know about this corruption case involving Justice
00:18Alexandre de Moraes and his wife connected to the case of Daniel Forcaro from Banco Master.
00:24That's right, I'll share some more details in a moment. In fact, I'm going to show you a video I

00:37André Mengdonça, a servant of God who is a pastor but who has made it very clear that he is

03:28In fact, how many evangelicals, how many pastors, how many people knowledgeable of the word of God
03:35are there in Brasilia? But unfortunately, they became corrupted. Unfortunately, they traded God's truth
03:42for money, for power, for influence. It's very sad. So, we need to stop being satisfied with just this
03:49idea that we can't look at men, because otherwise we'll fall. We have to look to Jesus. In a way,
03:56that's true. We can't go to church wanting to focus on men, not at all. Even André Mendoza is a
04:03human
04:03being, just like you and me. He can make mistakes, but from what I see, in my opinion,
04:09he is very well positioned. He doesn't want to give a bad testimony. He doesn't want to be just
04:14another one who was corrupted by power. So, I'm going to show you another video here where he talks

04:26to admire people, people who set an example, people who are role models, not at all. What's wrong is
04:32idolizing politicians, trusted people, pastors. You can't idolize anyone, because everyone can fail.

04:52Is there a solution to corruption in Brazil? I'm going to repeat my answer.
04:59The answer is, it depends. It depends on each of us. It depends on public officials, yes.
05:07It also depends on the citizens, on us being honest in everything. Sometimes they don't get
05:14change at the bakery. At the supermarket, sometimes it's in relationships between co-workers,
05:22in relationships with clients, and user of a certain service. There's also private corruption.
05:31In Brazil, we don't deal with that. There isn't specific legislation about it. In Europe, there is.
05:36Sometimes corruption happens in companies as well. People who are embezzling resources.
05:44Violating the trust that was placed in them in private dealings, in day-to-day relationships.
05:51Now, of course, I want to say this, putting it in the following perspective. It is a problem for
05:57all of us. Corruption is a problem for all of us. And the solution to the problem also involves
06:03all of us. Now, this does not exclude that from public officials, from judges, including myself. In
06:12a special way, there is a burden or a heightened demand, the responsibility to live up to this
06:23relationship of trust that I referred to, based on the principle agent theory.
06:29And I think that should be the role of all judges. That should be the role of all members of
06:35the public
06:35prosecutor's office. That should be the role of all police authorities, investigators.
06:41This is our responsibility. I know the responsibility that I have. Today, maybe I am among the
06:50evangelicals, the person in Brazil who holds the position of greatest national relevance.
06:57I have the responsibility to be an example, because my conduct, good or bad, impacts this community.
07:06In the way people see this community.
07:10Paul says in one of his letters, be my imitators as I am of Christ.
07:17I'm not comparing myself to Paul, but in light of Paul's reflection, it's what is he trying to say?
07:26When people see me, they come to Christ. And if they don't see me as Christ, I'm impacting the image
07:34of Christ.
07:36Look at this, brothers. In fact, there's a passage where God himself says,
07:40my name is mocked because of you. Brothers, we have a great responsibility. I think he was really
07:46right in saying that, because many times we exclude ourselves from this responsibility by bringing up
07:53the idea that we shouldn't focus on man. But the Apostle Paul said, imitate my behavior just as I am
08:00imitating the behavior of Christ. Amen? So keep praying for André Mendonça. I know there are
08:06already many people praying for him. His life really is at risk. But I believe that God protects,
08:12that God delivers, because he is dealing right there, brothers, at the center of corruption there.
08:19Of course, as he himself said, corruption is often in the heart of every Brazilian,
08:24and we need to remove this corruption from our hearts. Unfortunately, there is a lot of corruption
08:30among us as well. Wherever there are human beings, especially where there are people who preach the
08:35word, that's where the temptation is greatest. Because the enemy will want to bring shame,
08:41will want to discredit the Bible and God himself, right? So now I'm going to play the video that I

09:00whole truth about what's already happening behind the scenes. So watch it. Imagine a justice on the
09:06federal supreme court preaching the word of God at his church in São Paulo, but having to wear a bulletproof
09:13vest hidden under his suit jacket. That's right, the very church where he serves posted on social media
09:20asking for prayers for his life, and the police are already considering assigning an armed escort to
09:26protect this man's wife and children. But why is all this happening? The truth is that this man made a
09:33decision that affected the most powerful people in our country. He gave an order for the federal police
09:39and not the supreme court justices themselves to examine the cell phones of a man named Daniel Forcaro.
09:46Daniel Forcaro is a banker who was arrested and he had the phone numbers of almost all the important
09:52authorities in Brazil saved on his cell phone. And now this is under the authority of André Mendoza.
09:59This man is 52 years old, was born in Santos on the coast of São Paulo and has a law
10:06degree,
10:06but he also has a degree in theology from a college in Londrina, Paraná. This means he studied the holy
10:13scriptures with the same dedication that he studied the country's laws. He has worked as a volunteer
10:18pastor for many years and has never accepted a salary from the church for it. He started his career as
10:24an
10:24attorney for the federal government in Londrina, then moved to Brasilia, became the attorney general of the
10:30union, then minister of justice, and in 2021 he was nominated to the supreme federal court.
10:38But his nomination was stalled in the senate for almost five months. Many people didn't want him to
10:44take that seat, but by God's will he got there. Since March of last year, André Mendoza officially
10:52became an associate pastor at the Pinheiros Presbyterian Church in São Paulo. Serving alongside
10:58Rev. Hernandes Diaz Lopes and Rev. Arival Casimiro. He preaches at this church about once a month,
11:05and in one of his sermons he confessed that the biggest challenge in his life is not judging
11:10difficult cases at the supreme court, but rather preaching the word of God. And Andréa himself
11:16shared in a video something that happened to him almost 30 years ago. Watch with me and then I'll tell
11:23you some surprising details. And years ago, more or less, I attended the service
11:31and the preacher couldn't see me. He didn't even know me because it wasn't the church I usually
11:37attended. And I, at a certain moment during the sermon, doubting what the preacher was saying in my heart.
11:52Not that he was saying anything to me, but I doubted because of the way he preached.
12:03And only God and I knew that I felt that way about him. And I had the Bible open while
12:10he was preaching,
12:12without him being able to see me. He says, and you there who are doubting what I'm saying,
12:19I closed the Bible out of fear. You're the one I'm going to speak to. I lived in Londrina. I
12:26didn't
12:26even know Brasilia. And he says, one day you will hold the position in this country. He didn't need
12:36to please me because I was doubting him. One day you will hold the position in this country where laws
12:44will be changed because of you. Brothers, who delivers a message like that to a young man that
12:55nobody knows, sitting in the back of a gallery? It can only be God. At the end of 2025, the
13:02central bank
13:03ordered the closure of a bank called Banco Master. The federal police then started an investigation
13:09called Operation Compliance Zero and arrested the owner of this bank, a man named Daniel Vorcaro.
13:17When the police seized these bankers' cell phones, what they found there shocked the entire country.
13:23There were messages exchanged with Supreme Court justices, service contracts with judges, wives,
13:30firms, invitations to private parties, absurd things that happened there and many records of phone calls.
13:38The investigation showed that the police called the group a criminal organization, which they nicknamed
13:44The Crew. This group was illegally monitoring people and making threats against journalists, authorities
13:51and anyone who tried to interfere with their business. It turns out that Justice Gias Toffoli,
13:57who was responsible for handling this case, had to step away from the investigation because his own name
14:03appeared in the bankers' conversations. Because of that, the Supreme Court conducted a random draw to
14:08decide who would take over the case and it ended up in the hands of André Mendoza. The first decision
14:14he made
14:15changed everything. The previous justice, Gias Toffoli, wanted to personally choose who could see what was
14:22on those cell phones. He wanted to filter what would be shown and what would be kept hidden. But André
14:27Mendoza
14:28arrived and decided that the federal police would examine everything without any filter and without
14:34protecting anyone. And it was because of this decision that the threats began. The police responsible
14:40for the security of the court said it was urgent to increase protection for the justice and his entire
14:45family. And those who understand politics say that the powerful people in the government absolutely do
14:51not want this investigation to move forward. But he did not back down. And that's why André Mendoza
14:58started preaching in church wearing a bulletproof vest. And in a recent video, he made a very strong
15:04oath before the congregation, especially knowing the danger he's facing. He said the following.
15:10There are two things weighing on me. One of them is the position I hold today in public office.
15:16The second one, more important, is my position as a minister of the gospel. I have a commitment to God,
15:21my brothers, that if I should ever set a bad example, may God take me first. But as long as
15:26I
15:26live, may my life bear good witness. The income God gives me comes from my Supreme Court salary and
15:32solely from my work as a professor. Any share of profits or proceeds will be my offering before God
15:37and a testimony before society that the servant of God gives up treasures on earth to store up
15:42treasures in heaven. Brothers, I am not here in any way to turn a politician into a hero,
15:48or to say that André Mendoza is perfect, because we are all sinners and we all make mistakes.
15:54But this whole situation reminded me of a story from the Bible that talks about Mordecai in the
15:59book of Esther. The word of God tells us that there was a man named Haman, who was the most
16:05important
16:05man in the empire, second only to the king of Persia. This man was very proud and he insisted that
16:11everyone bowed down to him in the streets. But at that time there was a man faithful to the Lord
16:17named Mordecai, who would not bow down to Haman under any circumstances. This stirred up such heavy
16:24hatred in Haman's heart that he didn't just want to punish Mordecai, but he wanted to wipe out all of
16:30his people, the people of Israel. And the Bible shows that Haman had a lot of money, political influence,
16:37and he used his authority to deceive the king and create a law to destroy the innocent. He was so
16:43sure that no one would stop him that he had a gallows built almost 25 meters high, planning to kill
16:50Mordecai there for everyone to see. And at that moment it seemed like nothing would stop that
16:55powerful man and that evil would end up winning. But then brothers, Haman's plan was discovered and the
17:01situation completely turned around. And in the end, that same gallows he prepared to take Mordecai's life
17:09was used for his own execution. And when we look at what's happening in Brazil today, it's very similar
17:15brothers. Ministers who seemed untouchable are now having their names revealed in investigations.
17:22Conversations that were held in secret are now appearing in federal police reports. And Jesus
17:27had already said that all this would happen back in Luke 12.2. He said this,
17:35There is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. Therefore,
17:40what you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in someone's
17:46ear inside the house will be proclaimed from the rooftops. Look at this brothers, isn't this exactly
17:53what's happening today? Brothers, I know a lot of people say this, I already know how the story ends,
17:58pastor. I already know that no one will be condemned. Everything will end up swept under the rug as always.
18:06But brothers, I still believe that God has promises for Brazil. Many people have already
18:10prophesied and I believe that God really does have plans for us. But I know it really seems like
18:15corruption is a bottomless pit. But brothers, the word of God shows us that God is a specialist
18:21in undoing the enemy's plans in an instant. So my dear, what we can do now is what the Apostle
18:28Paul
18:28taught us in 1 Timothy. We should pray for those who are in government and in positions of authority,
18:35so that we can have a calmer and more peaceful life. Amen?
