00:00You need to milk your corn.
00:01What do we mean by milking corn?
00:02Take the back of your knife, anything that's comfortable to use,
00:05you're just going to scrape down the cob.
00:07We took all the kernels off and we still
00:08had all of that goodness left inside of here.
00:10This is full of fiber and sugar.
00:12So if you need to thicken sauces or soups,
00:14or you need to add any sweetness or make creamed corn,
00:17this is your go-to ingredient.
00:18But don't stop at just making corn milk.
00:20There's so much more that this can do.
00:21Add this into some heavy cream and infuse
00:23that to make a delicious ice cream or a sauce.
00:26You can infuse your favorite spirit.
00:28And you're going to get a crazy corn flavor
00:30into any of your booze.
00:31Let them dry out and use them to smoke your meats.
00:33Just dropping it right onto the coals,
00:35it imparts a nice sweet flavor.
00:37And another use we got is making corn stock.
00:39Drop a couple of these into some boiling water,
00:41cook for about an hour, and you're going to have a stock
00:44that's great for making things like risotto or soup.
00:46Why waste it when you can use it to make something special?
