An online relationship lands in Judge Judy’s courtroom after Jeffrey seeks repayment of $613.95 he says he loaned Caroline for a plane ticket. As Caroline explains her side of the arrangement Judge Judy becomes increasingly skeptical of her story.  Judge Judy describes Caroline as “slippery” and makes the point that nobody likes feeling as though they’ve been made a fool of. The dispute ultimately comes down to whether the money for the plane ticket was a gift or a loan that had to be repaid.  Judge Judy became a daytime television institution during its 25-season run with Judith Sheindlin’s blunt observations and memorable courtroom confrontations.
