Massachusetts just changed its abortion law, removing specific restrictions on abortions after 24 weeks and leaving the decision to a physician’s professional judgment. In this video, I break down what changed, why I strongly oppose it, and what you can do to help push back.

00:00Well, if you didn't know, Massachusetts is just allowing people to delete their kids left and
00:04right. They don't care anymore. This is the state of the culture that we live in. They have removed
00:09any exception for abortions after the 24 weeks that was already set, but now at the doctor's
00:16discretion, anyone can get an abortion at any time. First, I'll show you the video of Governor
00:20Healy signing the bill and all the women around her and what they do. Then we'll take a look at
00:26a local Boston news station reporting on this matter. And the comments on that are actually
00:31quite interesting. And then I actually have a call to action, something that we might be able to
00:36actually do about this and make change. Instead of just talking about it, we can take some action
00:40and do something. Before we get into it, though, my name is Cliff Puel. If you're new here, welcome.
00:43If you're not new here, welcome back. This channel exists to build a believer and reach the lost.
00:47If you like Christian content, make sure to hit that subscribe button. Today, though, we are going
00:51to see if we can actually make a difference in the state of Massachusetts against this. Honestly,
00:55this should be a crime, this horrific crime. First, we'll take a look here at the response
00:58of all of these women once this bill was signed by their governor.
01:11Now, see, there's nothing to clap about and celebrate. We're talking about being able to
01:16delete innocent life that cannot stand up for itself for any reason that you determine to be valid.
01:22These women who are wearing their lab coats, dressed as doctors and whatnot, acting like
01:25this is women's health. Now, take a look at what this new station in Boston reported on and kind
01:30of why they're doing what they're doing and how this even started to begin with. This whole thing
01:35is crazy. But then we're going to look at the comments, which might be a little reassuring.
01:40This new law instead leaves the decision up to the professional judgment. Governor Healy has signed
01:45a law removing all exceptions for late term abortions. This new law instead leaves the decision up to the
01:51professional judgment of the doctor. Before this change, state law allowed abortions up to 24 weeks
01:57with exceptions. Kate Dineen has been pushing for this change. She had to travel to Maryland for an
02:02abortion because her son's diagnosis was not included among the exceptions.
02:06We learned that our son, Teddy, had suffered a catastrophic stroke in utero.
02:10He would either die or survive for some period of time with a spectrum of devastating outcomes.
02:16We have learned that an abortion-
02:17How convenient. How convenient. Our son suffered a catastrophic stroke. That is extremely sad in
02:25itself. But when did unfortunate circumstances become a justified reason to take away innocent life,
02:33to delete innocent life? One of my favorite arguments is if you see someone who is homeless
02:38and maybe on drugs and maybe in a really terrible spot in their life, maybe they're disabled. Is the
02:44next logical conclusion to just remove them from this earth to take away their life from them because
02:49they're in a difficult place or it's inconvenient or they have disabilities? No. So why are we doing that
02:55with babies in the womb? Because it's going to be inconvenient for our life. It's going to be hard
02:59where they may not live very long so they don't deserve any of the life. We should just make the
03:04decision to play God and delete them. That makes no sense to me. There are so many cases too where
03:10babies end up being born without any of the issues that they talked about them having or they end up
03:16living much longer and they bring so much joy to the lives of the family because that is your child.
03:22That is your offspring. That is a joy, a blessing that has been given to you. That is an intentional
03:27life that was created by God. Ban with exceptions does not allow patients to access the care they
03:34need. It's not care. It's not care. It's disgusting. When they need it. And so today we are writing this
03:41wrong once and for all. No, you're making it wrong. It wasn't even right to begin with. I don't think
03:47abortion should be allowed at any point in the pregnancy because I believe that deleting an
03:52innocent life is deleting an innocent life regardless of how you try to spin it or change the terms or
03:56whatever. So no, their, their law already was not good up until 24 weeks. And then also having some
04:02exceptions after 24 weeks, not good. And now you've just made it worse. States and Washington DC also
04:08have no gestational ban on abortion. The national right to life group says the law is too lenient
04:13and would allow for abortion for any reason throughout pregnancy. Now I will say I was looking through some
04:18of these comments and this was a little refreshing to see. Now this is a local Boston channel. I don't
04:21know
04:22if everyone commenting on here is local to the Massachusetts area or state, but I will say that
04:27every single one of these comments that I saw at least was amazing. So first we have someone who is
04:33saying, Hey, yeah, they used to do this. They used to sacrifice their babies to Moloch and a hundred
04:37percent. This is just modern day human sacrifice. They're just doing it before the babies are born
04:41a room full of demons. Please Lord Jesus help this state. Come on. Absolutely. And we do not want
04:47this evil to spread. This is absolutely disgusting. So if a pregnant woman is deleted, why does the
04:51state charge for two? Exactly. This means the baby is deleted as it is born. How can she do that?
04:57Absolutely horrifying. Evil rears its ugly head. Yep. It's been legalized now in Massachusetts,
05:04Jeremiah 95. They built the high places of bail to burn their children in the fire as offerings to bail
05:08something I did not command or mention, nor did it enter my mind. This is the Lord speaking to the
05:15prophet Jeremiah there. I was just happy to see these comments. Uh, this seemed to be the
05:18overwhelming majority of the comments. Grateful that people, there's still some common sense out
05:22there. There's still some morality out there. There's still people who fear the Lord. There's
05:26still people who understand the value of life, innocent life, life in the womb. So I'm very grateful for
05:31that, but it doesn't end here, but what can we do about it? So here is a petition that I've
05:36actually
05:36started. I've partnered with change.org to see if we can get this position started to at least start
05:42something, right? The goal is to actually get them to kind of come back and restore the protections
05:48they had before. Now, ideally, right, there would be no abortion allowed at all at any point during
05:53the pregnancy, but that is very unlikely to make progress right now. So it's kind of like the
05:58stepping stones of like, Hey, we do want to abolish this a hundred percent, but can we at least bring
06:03it back? Cause that'll at least save lives that it's going to save a lot of lives because now there's
06:07no reason that people can just be deleting their kids whenever they want after 24 weeks in
06:11Massachusetts. So this is why I started this petition. I kind of go over what happened in
06:16here. I give some scripture to back it up. I want to just highlight here. The Bible teaches that every
06:20human being is made in the image of God. Genesis 127, Psalm 139, 13 through 16 describes God forming
06:25us in the womb. And Luke 1, 41 through 44 speaks of John the Baptist as a baby while he
06:30was still in
06:30his mother's womb. Like this is really real life in the womb. Scripture also tells us to open your mouth
06:34for the mute and defend the rights of the afflicted and the needy. And that's in Proverbs 31, 8 through
06:389.
06:38And so these children cannot speak for themselves. They cannot defend themselves. And it is our duty,
06:42our right as Christians. We are actually commanded to go and speak for those who can't speak for
06:46themselves to fight for those who can't fight for themselves, the ones who are needy, the ones who do
06:51not have a voice. We are a voice for the voiceless. So this is why I'm doing this. What I
06:54need is more
06:55signatures on here. The more signatures we get on here, then this can actually get the attention of
07:01Massachusetts officials. I've already tagged them through change.org and it sends them an email. I know that
07:06they're probably not going to be in favor of this, but if we get enough signatures to make noise,
07:09it doesn't matter if you live in Massachusetts or not, this can potentially start something to
07:12where then people in Massachusetts who are trying to fight for this can use this to their benefit to
07:17say, hey, there is a lot of people here who are trying to get the law back. We do not
07:23want this new
07:24law that has gone into effect. So that is my only ask. It's completely free. There's an option to
07:29donate. You do not have to donate. The signatures are the most important thing. So if you can just sign
07:34the petition, a hundred percent free, the link will be in the description. I'll also pin it in the
07:37comments. Guys, we could actually try to try to make a difference just with the free, simple
07:42signature, try to make a difference in, in save lives, like really actually save lives. If we can
07:47get this reversed here, I do a lot of reporting on a lot of different things. I had this partnership
07:50opportunity with change.org. And I thought, you know what? I know that this law just happened.
07:54Let me see if we can do something to make a difference and save some unborn babies. So please just
07:59asking again for your signature, send this to family and friends as well. The more signatures we get,
08:03the more likely something will actually happen. If this is something that you're passionate about,
08:07share this video with more people so that they can see what's happening in other states that they may
08:11not even live in and know that's happening. They can be aware of this issue that's taking place
08:15and then also support the petition as well. If you like Christian content, remember to subscribe to
08:20the channel. And if you watch to the end, you're an absolute legend. I love you. And I'm so grateful
08:25for your support here. And thank you in advance for signing the petition. God bless you. I'll see you on
08:31the next one.
