Based on the Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS), the new C-Class features the fourth generation of MBUX. It combines artificial intelligence (AI) from ChatGPT, Microsoft Bing, and Google Gemini within the vehicle's infotainment system. This allows the strengths of the different models to be optimally utilized depending on the situation. With this unique "Multi-Agent Approach," the MBUX Virtual Assistant revolutionizes the relationship between the vehicle and the driver. It is exceptionally intuitive and personal. Like a friend, the virtual assistant can conduct complex, multi-part conversations and has a short-term memory.
Mercedes-Benz is continuously working to expand the conversational capabilities of the MBUX Virtual Assistant. It is not only highly knowledgeable about general information and answers questions about navigation or tourist attractions, but the MBUX Virtual Assistant now also provides information on current stock prices, helps with currency conversion, and even knows the ski slope conditions for your ski vacation, in addition to the weather. It uses the latest voice technology and is present as a ""living"" avatar on the MBUX Zero Layer. Currently, three avatars are available, allowing for even more personalized interaction. The entertainment area is also becoming more individualized: If you can't remember a song title or artist, the MBUX Virtual Assistant will help you find it – and start the song.
