00:00Good morning, good morning, good morning. It is day 11 of the Great British Skip.
00:04I'm really tired. I'm really, really tired. My head is just like, oh, I'm so tired. I could sleep forever.
00:11A massive moment. I'm about to head over the Severn Bridge. That is so significant.
00:18The Great British Skip is well underway and I am not stopping. Here we go.
00:25I am on the Severn Bridge looking out over what can only be described as a huge achievement in itself.
00:32I am because of others and I literally would not be here today without the kindness and support of other
00:37people.
00:41I am six miles in. I am in Chepstow. I'm in Wales. It is raining in Wales. Some big hills
00:48in this next section.
00:49Look who I found.
00:51Here I am.
00:53How does that feel?
00:55The thermogun is coming in real handy.
00:59I'm sticking the podcast on so I can listen for it for the next three hours.
01:03I'm actually listening to Tom Hanks' World War II with Tom Hanks.
01:08A rainbow comes out. Always a positive sign.
01:15Wow. What a contrast, but I'm actually really enjoying it.
01:19It's so hot. A bit of rain, a bit of cooler weather. Amazing. Heaven.
01:22How cool is this? I'm in the middle of the forest and this beautiful river and I was like, I
01:28wonder whether they do snacks.
01:30I managed to get some snacks, crisps and water and I'm refueled to go back through the forest.
01:34Get in.
01:34How beautiful is this? Look at that.
01:39I have arrived at the beautiful Simmons Yacht. So, as you can see, in one direction, we've got the river,
01:46the other side direction, the river. It's just gorgeous here. Absolutely beautiful.
01:50It's mad how it gets to the end. Day 11. I've done 26.43 miles. I've got two miles to
01:55go and I am exhausted. My mind's playing all sorts of games on me once again.
01:58And that, as they say, is that. 28.49 miles. I'm rounding that up. 28.5 miles of skipping today.
