00:03i'm gonna try my best to uh get through this story so today is the three-year anniversary
00:10of my uncle matt passing away from als he was diagnosed in 2021 he passed away on labor day
00:19of 2023 tough year tough year across the andy summer show a lot of loss yeah um however
00:27i think one thing that has been such a blessing is since my uncle's diagnosis the entire kirkchen
00:34family myself my dad my mom my sister his children everybody we've been massively involved in the als
00:42community and donnie that brought me to a new friend named michael brown who lives locally
00:51and he's fighting als right now he's a dad of three and he's been telling me we did a great
00:59event for him just about a week and a half ago to raise some money uh for his family and
01:03it was so
01:03much fun to talk baseball with my dad for a good cause but him and i had some things to
01:09exchange
01:09so he was like hey why don't you come to my house and just pop over yeah absolutely lives local
01:15to
01:15me but i would drive hours to see this guy and just chat baseball yeah so i brought bodie my
01:20son
01:20right to his house yesterday and in interest of not giving away his address i'm going to change his
01:29address but there's a reason okay so the night before i get there he sends me his address and it's
01:36billy lane okay so that he lives on billy lane billy lane not his real address but i'm changing it
01:43for
01:43the purpose of the story my uncle matt who's no longer with us he has two children yes billy
01:53and lane whoa now obviously it's not billy but like yeah the purposes of the story i had to change
02:00my cousin's first name his address is your cousin so he sends me this and here i am gonna go
02:05meet and
02:06hang out with my friend mike and he sends me this address and the address is billy lane yeah the
02:14name
02:14of the children of my uncle my cousins who i grew up two streets away from yeah and that doesn't
02:21happen
02:22that's what and this weekend donnie i'm heading to lane's wedding wow it just it just proves once again
02:32you know that mysterious things can happen for no reason right this is a complete and total
02:39coincidence yeah and anybody who doesn't believe in a higher power might say that and i totally
02:43understand oh yeah but i also can sit here and believe that there's a little bit of a nod
02:48a little bit of nod from my uncle matt and i'm so so devastated our family is after losing him
02:54but
02:56if there's one silver lining it's brought us to this community and it's brought us to meet incredible
03:01people so yeah just glad to get a little message from my uncle matt there it is
