04:48The floodgates open, but the floodgates open.
05:07The floodgates open, so they can't.
05:21The floodgates open, so they can't.
07:58A while ago.

08:02A key could come in handy.
08:52Morkvarg doesn't give up easily.

34:06We'll hold you.
34:07Got a minute?
34:09Preparing my boat, can't you see?
34:11Nilfgaardian dogs were to hunt us some.
34:14Got bigger game in mind.
34:16Morkvarg.
34:17Ah, so them's your apples.
34:20All right, ask away, in praise of Freya.
34:27You were there when Morkvarg raided the garden, heard you alone survived.
34:33True.
34:34True.
34:34I managed to flee.
34:35Great Mother was looking out for me that day.
34:38Mm-hmm.
34:39But she didn't give a lick about the priestesses.
34:43Apparently.
34:44Morkvarg had them bound, then slit their throats like horses for the sacrifice.
34:48And he laughed.
34:51And he laughed.
34:52He laughed.
34:57But Archpriestess Ulver cursed him with her dying breath.
35:01You are beastly now, remain so forevermore.
35:06Ah, saintly woman.
35:16What happened to Morkvarg?
35:18Hard to believe, but fur rose through his skin, and his mug stretched forth into a muzzle,
35:25like a dog's or a wolf's.
35:27He howled, long and grieving, then lunged at his men.
35:32They tried to run, but he was fast as lightning.
35:35As he killed them, clamped his jaws round their throats, they turned to ash.
35:40Just like that, ash that seeped from twixt his fangs.
35:45Not good.
35:46Curse must be complex, multi-leveled.
35:50Such is the Great Mother's power.
35:58Didn't help the priestesses.
36:00Why not?
36:01How could I?
36:02Alone against a dozen raiders that...
36:05Why are you staring?
36:07Just wondering.
36:08You people, obsessed with honor, courage and so on.
36:12Are you just cut and run?
36:14Strange.
36:16I ain't proud of it.
36:18Since that day, I've been seeking a worthy death at sea.
36:23Seems the goddess, she's not seen fit to summon me.
36:27Yet.
36:39Liar.
36:40What?
36:41I swear it on the Great Mother's tits.
36:44Cut the act.
36:45Don't buy your piety one bit.
36:47You were one of Morkvarg's men.
36:51Well, well.
36:52Sharp you are.
36:55Didn't see one thing, though.
36:57Lads here around me, they're mine.
37:00Arm to the teeth, to the man.
37:03Let me introduce yous.
37:14I'm no knight errant.
37:16I'm a witcher.
37:17Didn't come here to bring you to justice.
37:19Digging up the past?
37:20What's that for?
37:22Need to know what actually happened in the garden.
37:25Gonna lift Morkvarg's curse.
37:27Why would you bloody do that?
37:29Horson should suffer till Ragnarok.
37:31The day after, actually.
37:39It's what I do.
37:40Used to say the same myself.
37:43Till Morkvarg gave the order to sail for Hindisfial.
37:50I raided often and cruelly.
37:53Killed women, children, whatever my axe happened to hit.
37:57But priestesses, it was too much, even for me.
38:02When...
38:03When it was over, and Morkvarg was drinking with the rest, I took this out.
38:09Wolfang pendant.
38:11Covered in runes.
38:12I got it from my daughter, who was god eye of our village.
38:16Told me that anyone I cut with a fang would suffer a fate worse than death.
38:21Spoke true, it seems.
38:24Your pop-pop mentioned how to reverse this?
38:27Victim needs to get the fang is all.
38:30But I'll not give it to you.
38:32That whoreson should suffer.
38:39Listen, the priestesses, they really long to get their garden back.
38:43And as I see it, you owe them, don't you think?
38:47All right, take it.
38:49But it don't come free.
38:51Want one thing in return.
38:52Won't tell anyone about your past.
38:54Give you my word.
38:55Not that.
38:56If you do, I'll just find you and kill you.
39:00Once Morkvarg's human again,
39:02you can't let him leave.
39:05No matter what.
39:31Dead dog, well.
