00:00So here we go, we're underway at the home of the champions, Eustadio Dragao.
00:08Porto looking to get a quick start to this game after a very very quick start to the season.
00:14Four wins from four in the league and Super Cup winners as well.
00:17Still yet to concede a goal this season. They're on the attack early on here.
00:25That looked like perhaps a slip.
00:28Losing his footing there perhaps, William Gomes.
00:30But the referee saw enough to reward a free kick.
00:34Maybe just caught the back of his legs there.
00:37Landerson, the Brazilian winger, as he went across to close down his compatriots.
00:41Win point two goals to one at home. They've never won at this venue.
00:45Apparently seen the ball in the opening for two minutes.
00:47Once again here it's William Gomes.
00:49His cross is blocked out for the first corner of the game.
00:55As he scored in that 3-0 win back in March.
00:58Just went to close now.
00:59Almost taken down.
01:02Referee hasn't blown his whistle.
01:04It's going to continue with Porto in possession.
01:05Could be a chance for an early shot.
01:06It took a deflection as well.
01:08It's going to go out behind for a corner.
01:10Pablo Rosario.
01:12Looking for his first goal of the season.
01:13The Dominican.
01:22Costa with the steal.
01:24And then the layoff.
01:25Or whether it was the defender.
01:28Marcas that got the crucial touch to turn around the poles.
01:31Either way it's out behind for a Porto corner.
01:33They're second in the game.
01:38Now is the flag going to stay down here?
01:39And it's a really good save anyway.
01:41To deny Pablo Rosario.
01:42Offside flag eventually did go up.
01:44But that was an excellent reaction save from Andre Ferreira.
01:48From point flank range to deny the Dominican.
01:52Clearly hadn't got back into an onside position.
01:55As that ball came back into the area.
01:58Probably going to try their luck down the other side now.
02:00We've seen a lot of Gomes so far.
02:01What can they create down the other flank?
02:03What can they create another corner?
02:14Third corner already for Porto.
02:16Not even 11 minutes.
02:18Porto boss.
02:20They'll be quite pleased with the start.
02:22But their clean sheet record could be under threat here.
02:24But it's a very, very lackadaisical pass.
02:28From Marsemon.
02:29Just when the Porto defence looked like they'd switched off at the back.
02:32Second.
02:32Final third.
02:34Gomes.
02:36First time Cross.
02:37Let's go straight into the gloves of Pereira.
02:50And look.
02:51And once again this looks like it could be a promising counter attack for Mato Ence.
02:58Anderson getting forward this time.
02:59He's had a lot of defending to do early on.
03:01Decent cross.
03:02And it's turned home at the back post.
03:04And there you have it.
03:05Porto concede their first goal of the season.
03:07And it's been turned home by Diniz Pinto.
03:13And what a story we have here.
03:16At the Estadio de Regal.
03:18The champions have fallen behind.
03:19They've conceded for the first time this season.
03:21And it is Pinto who gets his first goal of the season.
03:26And what a place to get it.
03:30Only finding his way back to fitness.
03:33He missed the final ten games of last season.
03:35He missed the opening game of this season against Braga.
03:38Before playing 45 minutes against Soroka.
03:40Did play a full 90 against Cazapilla last time.
03:43And he's back to full health.
03:45As displayed here by this really smart finish.
03:50Took it first time.
03:54Anderson carried it forward.
03:56It was a good layoff.
03:57Overlapping run from João Veloso.
04:00Who put in a really tempting cross.
04:02It did get a little touch on the way through.
04:03That may have just helped the goal scorer Pinto.
04:10Fell nicely for him.
04:11But he still had a lot to do.
04:12He made it look easy though.
04:14And.
04:15And.
04:15Dennis Pinto.
04:16Puts Moloense.
04:27How stern will the Porto response be?
04:29Regal tries to thread it back through.
04:33A few years of whistles from the support from that challenge on Pepe.
04:36Referee didn't see anything wrong with it.
04:38We'll get another look.
04:39They've got a nice pass on the outside of the foot.
04:44It's a really good tackle.
04:46From.
04:49Gomes.
04:49Probably the most involved player for the Dragons so far.
04:52This time he cuts inside.
04:53Better cross.
04:54This time the goalkeeper decides to punch.
04:58Rojo.
04:59Almost guilty of putting up a high boot there.
05:01For Porto.
05:03To find the gaps.
05:04But they may have just found one here.
05:05A low ball inside.
05:08Towards Andre Silva.
05:10Let's get it away.
05:11It's going to be another Porto corner.
05:13A little run off the shoulder.
05:17A little run off the shoulder.
05:31It wasn't just over the bar.
05:33It was a deft little header.
05:34Goalkeeper Ferreira was worried about that effort from Andre Silva.
05:38But in the end he didn't have to intervene as it just floats over the crossbar in the end.
05:45It's going well to get in front of a couple of Morrowence players there including their number nine.
05:52Tarsamon who was asked to come back and help out there defending that set piece.
05:55But his team finds themselves 1-0 behind here against Morrowence.
06:00Costa.
06:01Just stands the ball up.
06:02This could be a chance for the equaliser but couldn't generate the power in the header there.
06:09Costa did well to stay on his feet.
06:11Just got a little nudge.
06:12Placed across inside.
06:13Header coming in from Andre Silva who's already shown his threat in the air.
06:18That chance in the corner a couple of moments ago.
06:20But just couldn't get Morrowence.
06:23Aside from those two clearing opportunities to have the counter-attack they didn't take.
06:26But here comes Gomes.
06:29Gomes with the shot this time.
06:30It's a really good save from Ferreira.
06:33Morrowence goalkeeper called into action.
06:35I think everyone was expecting the cross there.
06:37But we've seen that a couple of times already.
06:39From the fourth owing.
06:40And when he's got into the air he's dropped the shoulder.
06:42He's played the crosses in off his left foot.
06:46Gomes caught late this time.
06:47Assistant referee frantically waving the flag.
06:50He was well positioned to see that.
06:53I was ball watching there.
06:55Didn't see the infraction.
06:56But assistant referee was switched on thankfully.
06:58Here it is.
07:09Gomes sends the ball into the air.
07:11It's a delicious free kick and it's a great header.
07:13And Porto are level.
07:15As Bednarek wheels away in celebration.
07:21His fifth goal for the club.
07:24For last season.
07:26And he's opened his account for this one.
07:30No chance for Andre Ferreira.
07:33Planted to the spot.
07:33Just a gorgeous delivery from Gomes.
07:36And they've given the Polish defender just a little bit too much freedom inside that 18 yard box.
07:41And he punishes them.
07:45He didn't have to do much with the ball.
07:47All the pace was on the delivery.
07:49Just needed to get his head on it and direct it the right way.
07:51He did that perfectly.
07:53Jan Bednarek levels the scores.
07:541-1.
07:55At the Estadio Dragao.
07:59Turned over by Porto.
08:00This time they commit the foul.
08:03Javel also taken down.
08:04For his being lenient.
08:07His cynical foul.
08:08He's going to go across to the bench here.
08:09And just try and cool tempers.
08:11Things beginning to boil over.
08:13Between the two dugouts.
08:17And he's got a card in his hand here the referee.
08:20And it's a red card that has been brandished.
08:25And he's going to go over to the other bench as well.
08:27And he's going to hand out another red card.
08:30It's all happening off the pitch.
08:42Tempers becoming frayed.
08:43At the Estadio Dragao.
08:47There's a reminder that possession is everything.
08:5071% of the ball for Porto in the first half.
08:52They find themselves level.
08:54That's Porto inside.
08:56Very, very disciplined.
09:01Really is sensitive in the atmosphere.
09:03There's real needle out there.
09:05For whatever reason.
09:06Again, maybe it's down to the referee allowing a lot to go.
09:08That was quite a nasty tackle.
09:10He was double teamed there.
09:10And oh, it's all spilling over on the touchline.
09:13We've already had some red cards brandished for people on the sideline this evening.
09:19And the referee might have more.
09:20A yellow card.
09:22That is the first booking for an on-field player today.
09:26And it is going to be João Veloso.
09:28Picks up the yellow card there.
09:39Some domies there.
09:40Just acting as cheerleader.
09:45There was an incident off the ball which led to that yellow card for Willow.
09:49Will they send this ball into the area before the whistle goes?
09:52They won't get the chance.
09:53There's the halftime whistle.
09:55And a lot to digest after that opening 45 minutes.
10:00We've had two red cards off the pitch.
10:02We've had a couple of yellow cards on it as well.
10:05It has been an ill-tempered first half at the Estadio Dragao.
10:09But Morrowence have come here and they have scored.
10:13To put their team in front.
10:15We are set for the second 45.
10:20Looking to make it five wins from five at the start of the league season.
10:24Looking to win their first seven league games of last term.
10:28Matching that.
10:29Looking for a quick start to the second half.
10:31It's a good pick out.
10:32Chance.
10:33Not a whole pile of power in this shot.
10:36For Pepe.
10:38It's a good wide play again.
10:39Straight into the side.
10:40Netting though.
10:41Disappointing.
10:43End product.
10:45There's some good build up play.
10:48There's that very important interception from Gilberto Batista.
10:55It's the opening game of the season against Braga.
10:57But it's been never present since.
11:00The goalkeeper got something on it.
11:02But I think Alberto Costa did as well.
11:05Let's see exactly what happened here.
11:08I don't think the goalkeeper did get anything on it.
11:10No.
11:11He was in no man's land to let off.
11:14For Andre Ferreira.
11:15As Alberto Costa can't direct the ball in.
11:18Are they going to be punished here?
11:19They almost were.
11:21Gomis never afraid to pull the trigger.
11:25Andre Ferreira rushing out to have a word with his defence.
11:29They gift-wrapped this chance for Porto.
11:32Thankfully.
11:33For the goalkeeper, Ferreira.
11:36That one just trickling wide of his power pose.
11:37It was well struck.
11:38It was good technique, wasn't it?
11:40For William Gomis.
11:42Got his knee over the ball.
11:49Not able to turn that goal bound.
11:51Andre Silva.
11:55Close with a couple of headers in the first half.
11:56Didn't he?
11:58Just stuck under his feet there.
12:00Couldn't get him to sit out from underneath.
12:02Molo Ence having a football in the 4-0 half.
12:04Shot comes in.
12:06The deflection.
12:07Was kind to Molo Ence.
12:08And they're going to get another bite of the cherry as well.
12:11Shot coming in from Mendoza.
12:12Eventually.
12:13The offside flag went up.
12:14Ball bobbling around.
12:17It was in a pinball machine there inside the Porto penalty area.
12:24That sliced effort from Maracas.
12:27Eventually.
12:28Falling to Mendoza.
12:30Ence through the middle of the pitch.
12:32Froholt.
12:33Ball played across the face of goal.
12:35And it's tapped in at the back post by William Gomis.
12:41He's looked the most likely at the start of this second half.
12:45To put Porto in front.
12:46And now he finally has.
12:50Scored in the 3-0 win against Molo Ence in March.
12:54And he scored against them again.
12:572-1 to Porto.
12:59Already his second goal of the season.
13:02Scored last time out against Karamiko Vazio.
13:05And he's followed up here against Molo Ence.
13:09We can get a look at it here.
13:10Froholt started off the move in the midfield.
13:14Or eventually playing the ball out to the left.
13:16Where it was played across the face of goal.
13:20By Pepe.
13:21And he's really put this on a plate for Gomis.
13:24Nobody's picked up his run there from a wide area.
13:26Exactly what you want from your wingers.
13:28Making that run from outside to in.
13:30And the chance presenting itself wonderfully.
13:35For the 20-year-old to tap home.
13:38Porto hit the front early in the second half.
13:40At least it's Pepe over on the other side.
13:44Spreading the pitch.
13:45Making it as wide and as large as possible.
13:48Moving their opponents all around the place.
13:50Here's Pepe again.
13:51Really enjoying himself at the start of the second half.
13:53He's blocked off there.
13:55I have to say.
13:57On another day I think there would have been.
13:59A few more yellow cards handed out.
14:02Coming out to his haul here.
14:03Low in swinging corner.
14:05It was a dangerous delivery.
14:07Needed dealing with.
14:11Pepe left that back pass a little bit short.
14:14The referee is going to award a free kick.
14:16And he is going to reach for a card this time.
14:23That back pass from Pepe.
14:25Putting Moore in a little bit of trouble.
14:27He just brings the forearm up slightly high.
14:29He makes contact with his man.
14:30It is going to be.
14:32I believe he did brandish a yellow card there.
14:35Both of those starting berths.
14:37This is his first substitute appearance of the season.
14:40As Gomes lays that off.
14:42And it looked for all the world.
14:44As if that was going to be tapped home.
14:45By Froholt.
14:47He thumps the ground in frustration.
14:49He can't believe his luck.
14:51Excellent wide play once again.
14:52It was Andre Silva that missed the first chance perhaps.
14:56Swing and a miss from him.
14:58And Froholt can't believe his luck.
15:00But you have to say credit to.
15:01Dennis Pinto.
15:02Just done enough to.
15:05The quarter substitutes.
15:06Not too happy with the cameraman.
15:07Position there.
15:08Swing takes the corner.
15:10Andre Silva with the header.
15:14Good delivery from Wang.
15:15He wasn't too deterred by the positioning of the cameraman in the end.
15:20Not the first time Andre Silva has gone close with the header in this game.
15:29Porto supporters really making their voices heard now.
15:32They know another goal here.
15:33And this one is surely over.
15:34He's joined on loan in the last few days.
15:37From AC Milan.
15:39He made 16 Serie A appearances for last season.
15:43That's only four appearances at the World Cup for Mexico.
15:47A bit of double change from Molotov.
15:50A bit of double change from Molotov before that though.
16:13Gico Bondoso coming on here for the away side.
16:17As Gomes makes his way off to a hero's reception.
16:21A stellar performance from the Brazilian this evening.
16:23A stellar performance from the Brazilian this evening.
16:27Deserving of that applause.
16:29That's for sure.
16:31A few put back in from Pepe.
16:35Wanks, it's down a couple of defenders.
16:39But he just seemed to lose his foot and that allowed Maracast to come in with a tackle.
16:45Good strength there from Maracast in the full of the journey.
16:48Wanks on the attack to an end.
16:52Trying to create an angle for the cross.
16:53Eventually he does deliver it.
16:55And it's...
16:56Oh!
16:56It's been missed from close range by Frojo.
16:58The offside flag eventually did go up to spare his blushes.
17:04What about this for a cross from Fernandes?
17:10It was a very, very marginal offside decision I have to say.
17:14I wouldn't mind seeing that again.
17:16Wouldn't have mattered in the end anyway.
17:18Because Frojo couldn't turn it.
17:20Make a sprawling save.
17:22Incredible reactions from Costa.
17:24But we shouldn't be surprised.
17:25What a decorated goalkeeper he is.
17:27Named in the team of the season on multiple occasions.
17:32Some concern here.
17:34I think it's Frojold is down.
17:36After a blow to the head.
17:41Stricken, rather, Porto player.
17:43The referee again comes over to the sideline.
17:46And it looks like Frojold is in distress.
17:49He's caught a forearm to the face.
17:51It's going to be up to the referee now to decide the national.
17:56Two appearances at the World Cup as the primary post reaches the knockout stages.
18:04Midway through last season.
18:05He's got a kick from Ferreira.
18:10Ball quickly.
18:11Back in the Morrowind's half.
18:13Shot from Rich.
18:14Good save from Ferreira.
18:16Dejanoc here.
18:16Yeah, Pepe takes a touch inside the area.
18:21Still not...
18:23What about that for a pass out from the back.
18:25And this could be the chance for the third now.
18:27Oh, it's a brilliant slight and tackle inside the area.
18:35I just will not give this up.
18:40Morrowind's clinging on with every fibre in there being just to stay in the contest for as long as possible.
18:46Brilliant defensive play from Maracas.
18:48Last gas ball into the area.
18:50It's cleared away.
18:51And there is the final whistle.
18:52They have been made to work for this tonight, Porto.
18:55But they come out on top in the end.
18:57It's now five wins from five at the start of the season.
19:00They did concede, though, for the first time in the league or in any competition.
19:04When they went behind on 20 minutes through Dennis Pinto's goal.
19:09Well taken.
19:10First time effort from inside the area.
19:1217 minutes later, Jan Bednarek up from the back.
19:15Headed home after a delicious free kick from William Gomez.
19:18And it was Gomez that put Porto in front of him.
19:20It was his goal that proved to be decisive in the end.
19:23Wonderful ball across the face.
19:24A goal from Pepe tapped home by his fellow Brazilians.
