00:00All right. We've got college football coming up here. Miami is obviously going to be a big focus taking on
00:07Stanford, who played a game last week and beat Hawaii.
00:12Barely. They held on there. Also hearing that a lot of injuries here up to four starters on the offensive
00:21side of the ball could not be going for Stanford tonight. One, including a defensive starting defensive lineman for them
00:29a little banged up out of that first game.
00:31We're hearing Miami was 21, 21 and a half at Memorial Day when this line opened up. It has been
00:38nothing but Miami money since 23 and a half, 24 and a half.
00:43That seems to be where the line has been drawn, Tom. Once we get to 23 and a half and
00:48it crosses over to that 24, it comes back down.
00:52So, you know, and I get it, you know, 20, you don't want to 24 and a half is, is
00:58a big number, but I just don't see a world in which Miami's had two months to prepare for one
01:05team has tape on that team now.
01:08And all they've had to do is get ready for this traveling spot. I think Miami boat races them because
01:15if they thought Hawaii was difficult, I'd, I'd welcome to, uh, welcome to what Miami is going to bring to
01:23the table here.
01:24Yeah, this is, uh, this is a different stratosphere is a great way to put it. Like it's, you know,
01:29it's great to beat, uh, a team like Hawaii and start your season with a win, but a 24 is
01:36in a 24 and a half is a huge number.
01:38The 46 and a half is also very interesting, but I'm mostly interested in is Stanford total points, Joe, which
01:43is sitting at 10 and a half, 10 and a half points.
01:47And it's minus one 46 to the unders plus one 14 to the over can Stanford get 12, 13 points.
01:54Can they score two field goals and a touchdown? Is it like, is that what we're hoping for them? Because,
01:59you know, frankly, if Miami is covering this game, you know, where does that lead for the total?
02:04Cause we talk about a lot, you know, when it comes to college basketball, the shows that we've done in
02:07the, over the past years, you know, it's a low total and a super high spread where we get from
02:11there. Obviously a lot of that correlates with football as well. We have a, we have a pretty decent spread
02:15here and we're only dealing with a 46 and a half.
02:17So if it does stay under, does that keep Stanford within the number? Because their team prop is not suggesting
02:23that they're going to be doing any of the lifting when it comes to the total.
02:26Yeah. It's interesting because the opening total was 48 and a half. It got as high as 49 and a
02:31half last week. Then we saw a drop down to 47 and a half and you're going, Hmm.
02:38But I think that might have more to do with the fact of now the injuries that we're hearing about
02:43a little bit here, Tom, where all of a sudden, uh, your tackle, your starting center and a guard may
02:48not be available along with the best receiver that you had last week.
02:52So that's worth watch this about 30 minutes on before kickoff. And that'll tell you everything you need to know
03:00about the direction that this game is going to what that either way, I don't expect Stanford to look as
03:08confident offensively as they did, uh, against the defense of Hawaii, which they were able to push around.
03:14They're not pushing around this Miami defense in any way, shape or form. So I'm looking forward to that one.
03:22As we get more information, we'll let you know there.
