देशभर में भगवान श्रीकृष्ण का 5253वां जन्मोत्सव जन्माष्टमी के पावन अवसर पर श्रद्धा, उत्साह और भक्ति के साथ मनाया गया। मध्यरात्रि 12 बजे जैसे ही भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के जन्म का शुभ मुहूर्त आया, मंदिरों में “नंद के आनंद भयो, जय कन्हैया लाल की” के जयघोष गूंज उठे। मथुरा और वृंदावन में श्रीकृष्ण जन्मभूमि मंदिर, बांके बिहारी मंदिर और इस्कॉन मंदिर में बड़ी संख्या में श्रद्धालु पहुंचे। रोहिणी नक्षत्र में भगवान का अभिषेक और विशेष श्रृंगार किया गया। द्वारका के द्वारकाधीश मंदिर और पुरी के जगन्नाथ मंदिर में भी विशेष पूजा-अर्चना और सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम आयोजित हुए। मुंबई और महाराष्ट्र में दही-हंडी उत्सव ने माहौल को और भव्य बना दिया। दिल्ली, पंजाब, मध्य प्रदेश समेत देशभर के मंदिरों को फूलों और रंग-बिरंगी रोशनी से सजाया गया। श्रद्धालुओं ने रात्रि जागरण कर बाल गोपाल के दर्शन किए और सुख-समृद्धि की कामना की।
Across the country, the 5,253rd birth anniversary of Lord Krishna was celebrated with immense devotion, enthusiasm, and spiritual fervor on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami. As the sacred midnight hour of Lord Krishna’s birth arrived, temples echoed with chants of “Nand Ke Anand Bhayo, Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki.” In Mathura and Vrindavan, large numbers of devotees gathered at the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple, Banke Bihari Temple, and ISKCON Temple. Special abhishekam rituals and adornment ceremonies were performed during the Rohini Nakshatra.
