00:04As protests erupt outside and hecklers disrupt speeches inside,
00:08with people having to be dragged out of Nigel Farage's keynote address.
00:14Reform's annual party conference here in Birmingham has been somewhat overshadowed
00:18by revelations that senior party officials
00:20plotted to pay foreign donors for off-the-book polling.
00:24Nigel Farage was among the reform leaders secretly filmed by undercover journalists
00:28appearing to accept polls being paid for by a US donor against UK electoral laws.
00:33Two senior reform aides have now stepped down and there are calls for a police investigation.
00:37We asked some of the delegates here in Birmingham what they think of the scandal.
00:41It's the left and the establishment just trying to stop Nigel getting in power,
00:45but you know we've seen it all before. I don't know the ins and outs of it because it's quite
00:50new,
00:50but they're scared because they know he's going to get in power and they'll do anything they can to stop
00:55him.
00:55It's all the mainstream media and the opposition digging up as much as they can against him,
01:01because they're absolutely frightened.
01:04Every scandal bothers me and of course you've got to keep it clean,
01:07but I think things have been over-exaggerated a little bit.
01:09There's been funding scandals all the way through.
01:11Cash for questions back in the 80s, 90s, same thing you know.
01:15Go look at it, Labour up to their neck, up to their neck in terrible things.
01:19I'm probably just as fed up as everybody else about all the lies and all the stuff that's going on.
01:25This is just another bunch of rubbish. I mean, yes, two people have stood down,
01:32and if they are implicit in anything, then I'm glad they've stood down.
01:37I think there's a lot of guilty until proven innocent as well.
01:40The problem is that everything gets thrown at Nigel, everything gets thrown at reform,
01:45and we know it. So until they prove, until there is evidence, until an investigation,
01:52inquiry, or whatever you want to call it, comes to its conclusion, then we can judge from there.
