00:14A passenger told TMZ she could see Thornton's laptop during the flight and described what she saw as disturbing messages
00:22and images in a chat room that appeared to involve discussions about children.
00:27The passenger alerted a flight attendant and when the plane landed at LAX, Thornton was questioned by authorities then released.
00:35He has not been arrested or charged with a crime.
00:38In a statement to TMZ, Thornton's attorney strongly denied that his client engaged in any illegal activity and says he
00:45was only in the chat room because he was sent the wrong link.
