10:06Taichi, you are too weak !
10:10Taichi has claims and plans of becoming the oldest ever G1 45 winner.
10:15The G1 winner overall, 45 years of age is Taichi, reigning as IWGP Tag Team Champion.
10:22And listen, I mean, if you're asking maybe a year ago, a lot of people would have told you,
10:26oh, there's never gonna be a 45 year old G1 Climax winner.
10:29But, you know, you look at a man like Hiroki Goto, in that same age bracket,
10:33becoming World Heavyweight Champion, beating, you know, a guy in his prime like Zack Sabre Jr.
10:37You can't count anyone in this generation out, Triller.
10:40Yeah, they're putting on for the old boys.
10:42Good for them, but, you know, Taichi needs to worry about winning this for him.
10:46Oh, Northern Irish curse from Finlay.
10:50And that's the power game.
10:51Two count only for Finlay.
10:54He's a tag team champion, a great tag team, but he ain't tagging out anytime soon.
10:58This is a singles tournament.
10:59Yeah, and that's the difference, you know, you can specialize in tag team wrestling,
11:02you can specialize in singles wrestling, but it's all about what you can do
11:05within these sets of ropes in G1 Climax.
11:08The pressure's on right now.
11:15Oh, snapped into the corner and snapped off the dome.
11:26David Finlay collapses in the center and that is exactly what Taichi needed.
11:31Create a little bit of separation and find your way back.
11:55Oh, could it be time?
11:57It may be.
12:00It's Taichi time.
12:14And David Finlay now, that's the power we were talking about, Triller.
12:19And you can't predict it.
12:21That's what makes David Finlay so difficult to plan for,
12:24if you even can plan for a man like Finlay.
12:27This is my fucking tournament, Mitch.
12:28You understand me?
12:29Get you out of front.
12:32Taichi, give up!
12:34Give up, Taichi!
12:36Come on, Taichi!
12:38Come on, Taichi!
12:41Come on, Taichi!
12:43Come on, Taichi!
12:44Come on, Taichi!
12:45Come on, Taichi!
12:48Come on!
12:48You're still here.
12:49Come on!
12:54That's fine.
12:55All it takes is one shot to make a dream come true,
13:03to right the wrongful power struggle in 2024 to beat a man that Taichi is never beaten.
13:09a put down David Finley in G-145.
13:24Un huge backhand.
13:51Sous-titrage Société Radio-Canada
14:10David Finlay, gonna bring this one back to the slope.
14:18.
14:26Good Lord.
14:28.
14:32It's the lower lumbar of David Finlay.
14:35.
14:35That is being tended to right now.
