00:22What we've seen from Kyle Tucker and really what I'm thinking about moving into next year is what is his
00:27draft cost going to be?
00:28Because if he was a first-round pick this year and he's going to be slipping into the second or
00:32third round next year just based on his performance,
00:35taking him at a 2-3 turn next year is still just a little too rich when I know I
00:39can get players that are a bit more consistent.
00:41Of course, everyone's going to make the argument saying, well, what if he does rebound next year?
00:45What if he just does rebound and the Dodgers are just the Dodgers?
00:48Of course, he's going to have it.
00:49But I'm willing to bite that bullet and say I'll pass on Kyle Tucker and take higher upside or more
00:54consistent guys from me.
00:56You never know what the Dodgers would do.
00:58I mean, maybe Kyle Tucker could get moved in the offseason.
01:01It doesn't seem like he's been a fit for the Dodgers.
01:03The guy that, you know, if I do play fantasy baseball next season, which is very unlikely because I would
01:08anticipate that I'll be doing exactly the same thing next season
01:11or even more with baseball broadcasts or even here at SportsGrid.
01:16But I've seen this movie before.
01:19And the great signing of year one from overseas is almost never the great signing in year two.
01:24Just go back in history of baseball.
01:26Well, Munitaka Murakami.
01:28Now, you get a little video on the guy and teams get advanced scouting.
01:31And, yeah, you get a little bit.
01:33But then you know what you get in year two?
01:35A full year of this guy playing baseball.
01:38And I think he's had a great year.
01:40I give the White Sox front office and Chris gets a ton of credit for signing Murakami and arguably getting
01:47them to the postseason.
01:48Without him, I don't think they get there.
01:50But there's regression coming for all of these guys from overseas once you get the data and once you get
01:56the video on a player that you really don't have a lot of.
01:59And I just think it's really hard to make those adjustments in season to a player like this.
02:03And we've seen so many pitchers in the past, too, that have come to the U.S., Daisuke Matsuzaka, Senga.
02:09They all look great at the beginning.
02:11Then all of a sudden, they get a year of video and data.
02:13And then the next year, it's not the same.
02:15So Murakami would be hypothetically my guy for next year.
