00:06we're gathered here to learn more about our ancestry and we try to do so in memory of
00:11Jacob Hostetler who is one of the most iconic early pioneer ancestors I've heard this story
00:17from the time I was old enough to remember anything a sort of paragon of faithfulness
00:23the end of the Anabaptist journey as refugees is coming to an end but they're inadvertently
00:30finding themselves still persecuted because they're being drawn into this broader conflict
00:35and it's a fight between the French and the British for world domination or European domination
00:39the Hostetler family having heard of some of the other attacks not realizing of course that it
00:46might happen to them you become a detective in tracing your ancestry
00:52there's a lot of DNA strands here that are in me it's unusual to think I'm related to every person
00:58here for a family who valued their spiritual heritage they were willing to put their selves
01:05on the line for that
