00:16from Ice Age. You know, that lovable saber-toothed squirrel that always wants the acorn but could
00:21never hold on to it for very long. That little dude is my favorite part of Ice Age. Scrat's
00:27physiology is frankly a bit mind-boggling. Each part of him seems to stretch and squish
00:33from screenshot to screenshot, so it's sort of difficult to know what shape he actually is,
00:40much like an actual squirrel. Now, I'm a huge fan of hand-drawn animation, but CGI is also great when
00:47the animators remember that the whole point of animation isn't to make something look as realistic
00:52as possible or even as consistent as possible. It's to be expressive and to bring to life things
00:57that maybe otherwise couldn't be brought to life. At least, that's what I think it means. I mean,
