Helen Mirren becomes legendary The Talented Mr. Ripley author Patricia Highsmith in the official trailer for A Talent for Murder, a new psychological thriller from director Anton Corbijn. Alden Ehrenreich plays a young publishing representative sent to Highsmith's secluded home in Switzerland with one mission: convince her to write one final Ripley novel.  But the assignment quickly becomes something much darker. Highsmith agrees to consider the proposal if her visitor helps devise the perfect murder, blurring the line between the twisted fiction she made famous and what may actually be happening around them. Olivia Cooke also stars in the film, which is adapted by Joanna Murray-Smith from her play Switzerland.  A Talent for Murder opens only in theaters October 23.
