00:13Lewis Skelly, and the Lutheran deflection earns a corner.
00:16Yeah, John McGinn did really well, actually could have given that to Cash to get rid of.
00:21Look, he does well to intercept there, the full-back's still next to him,
00:24roll it to him and he can play it down the line, unfortunately he gives it away.
00:32Rice.
00:34Oh, and Suzuki went for it, didn't get there and was very nearly made to pay the full price.
00:41Then it's Calafiore and it's headed away by Barclay.
00:44Flag is up on the far side now.
00:48Well, it's his first chance actually, he wanted to come out and try and grab it.
00:52A lot of traffic in front of him, you can see those Arsenal players starting to make their way in,
00:56lovely flat, fast delivery from Declan Rice.
01:14It's hit by Buendia.
01:17Everyone-
01:17Arsenal were waiting for a whistle.
01:19Yeah, everyone just stopped.
01:21And Emi Buendia thought, why not?
01:23Amazed at the Arsenal players there, Odegaard saying to the referee, what's that all about?
01:28He thought there was a foul from camera when it looked like he'd kind of given the ball away there.
01:39Rice.
01:42The challenge by Calafiore.
01:44Go kick.
01:50Watch those boys at the yellow shirts at the back, then all of a sudden sprinting towards the near.
01:59And it's on by Rice.
02:01But there was an offence which has been penalised by Jared Gillett.
02:05Yeah.
02:06Good stop as well actually from Zion Suzuki.
02:09It was John McGinn who was wrestled to the floor by Gabriel.
02:15Ian Mattson.
02:19That's lovely football from back to front.
02:21Started with a goalkeeper.
02:23Confident work from Suzuki to knock it out.
02:26To cash and then they...
02:28A little bit of one-touch into play before it finds Ian Mattson coming in on the right foot.
02:34Shot lacked any real conviction, but...
02:36It's nice football, it's encouraging football for the home team.
02:46Here is Mattson.
02:50Yeah, I think his first thought there, Ian Mattson, was can I whip it across the six-yard box and
02:54look for...
02:55Nicholas Jackson.
02:58And then in the end, it took him a while to just settle the ball down properly.
03:06Declan Rice.
03:10Casting in towards Havertz.
03:12He's reasonably well marshalled.
03:14It's a really good play there from Viktor Lindelof, because that was a dangerous little ball in actually from Declan
03:18Rice.
03:19Clipped that up quite nicely.
03:27Rice.
03:32Saka goes down sprawling.
03:34The ball was well ahead of him.
03:35And the referee has pointed to the spot.
03:38I mean, the ball looked like it had gone way beyond Pakao Saka.
03:43How they ended up coming together, we'll see in the replay, John.
03:46But the ball from Declan Rice, Pakao Saka's never getting anywhere near it.
03:56And that brings forth a big Villa roar.
04:00The news...
04:02After review.
04:02...not as bad as they'd feared.
04:04The foul by Aston Villa number 22 occurs...
04:06Just got caught napping a wee bit there, didn't he, in that scene.
04:08The final decision is direct free kill.
04:13Erdegaard!
04:13He's got caught!
04:27Oh!
04:28I tell you, Zion Suzuki there must have been breathing pretty deep.
04:35Gavriel, Havertz, Eze,
04:56again Eze, Calafiore and Saka!
05:03Moments ago he thought he won a penalty,
05:07two minutes later he is on the score sheet for the second time this season
05:13and Arsenal have a precious lead just shy of the hour.
05:18That's a great goal, it's brilliant football and they're just a yard sharper than Villa,
05:24all over that little phase of play there.
05:27The ball to Calafiore, Calafiore just gets there, he's under pressure but he gets there first
05:32and Bukayo Saka senses there might be something for him.
05:38Ricardo Calafiore gets into a really good position here.
05:43There he goes, he's just spinning off his man, he runs in behind Eze,
05:46so he slides that across and Saka has got across Mattson, again he's a little quicker, a little sharper
05:52to just sense there might be something for him.
05:55and this time...
06:04Saka, Bruno Gimaraes, Kai Havertz in here possibly to seal the game,
06:10and Zayn Suzuki comes up big and the flag goes up as well.
06:18Great spot from Bruno Gimaraes, he just couldn't knock that one any quicker to Kai Havertz,
06:25but that's the sort of awareness Gimaraes has in this position.
06:30Once it comes to him there, he's seen the run from Havertz, it's a close call,
06:34but of course it would have been checked had it goes in the back of the net.
06:53Bruno Gimaraes,
06:55Marino, Bukayo Saka.
07:04Saka.
07:08Only a corner.
07:09Lucky, big chance that actually, good play from Bukayo Saka.
07:14Bruno prompting again once more with the ball, clever ball to Saka.
07:27The champions open with consecutive victories without conceding a goal.
07:33Aston Villa two games in, yet to have a shot on target in this Premier League season.
07:39Arsenal move level on points with Manchester City.
07:42Those are the top two with 36 match rounds still to play,
07:47but the top of the table has a familiar look to it.
07:50Bukayo Saka with the only goal just shy of the hour.
07:53Aston Villa 0, Arsenal 1.
07:56Thank you,
