Equality. It's something we strive for, but is it truly a reality for women? On International Women's Day, BETC Paris and the City of Paris illuminate the harsh realities that still hold women back.  From a significant pay gap to the shocking prevalence of sexual violence, the systemic challenges women face are undeniable. Even in 2024, the burden of care still disproportionately falls on women. This isn't the equality we want for future generations.  A powerful symbol, an asterisk, was installed on the Eiffel Tower. It represents the many "conditions" preventing true equality. This campaign calls for an end to conditional equality and the realization of genuine, unconditional equality. 00:46we will add to our republic an asterisk homo-égalité.

00:52This asterisk represents the hundreds of conditions

00:56that make the real equality is far from being reality.

00:59We make sure that our sisters, our daughters, our little girls

01:03never have to live an equality without conditions,

01:07but an equality without conditions.

01:12we're going to make sure that the student can change their lives.
