00:00It did not go to plan for the Jamaica Kingsmen, but there was a point in the match where their
00:05captain, Ravman Powell, thought they had done enough.
00:08Yeah, to be honest, you know, I think at the halfway stage I was pretty pleased, you know, especially when
00:13we lost those wickets in the middle of us, you know, credit to our son.
00:16You know, he played a tremendous innings for us, and I think it's just a case of some fine margins.
00:22He knew it would have been difficult when they could not remove Shea Hope and Shimran Hitmeyer.
00:26I think in hindsight maybe we could have shifted things around a little bit, you know, but credit after giving
00:31to Gerbas and the youngster, I think they batted well in the power play.
00:34We also know if we cannot find the wicket of Hitmeyer and Shea Hope, it would be difficult to contain
00:40them in Guyana.
00:41You know, Guyana is always a difficult place to play. You know, we always tell the guys that it's good
00:46for us to come out here and get a run out.
00:48In reply, captain of Guyana Amazon Warriors Imran Tahir was happy with his team's performance.
00:54Yeah, definitely. Like I said, from the start, you know, we've been playing here, most of the guys, they've been
01:00with the franchise, you know, from the last couple of years.
01:03So, but every time we come here, you know, there is a couple of guys who struggle, but, you know,
01:07it's nice to see such a professional approach.
01:10And they went about their business. I mean, you know, that come with experience and we got Dean Deall, you
01:15know, is a very talented guy.
01:16You know, he came and he showed, obviously, he contributed with Gerbas and he never put Gerbas under pressure, which
01:22was very nice to see.
