00:05production costs around 63 trillion US dollars per kilogram. Just to remind you
00:11that's equivalent to 14 times the entire German economic output. And with that we
00:18would have only produced a single kilogram. Maybe a dream for the year 2100.
00:24The current state of things is that at CERN we've produced a total of about 10
00:29nanograms of antimatter. With that you could power a 60 watt light bulb for four
00:36hours. After all the Wright brothers only flew a few meters at first and today we
00:42fly around the entire globe. With our current technology it will take us a
00:47billion years to produce one gram of antimatter. By comparison our earth is
00:52much older. 4.5 billion years old. That makes one thing clear to me.
00:58This technology is simply not mature yet.
