00:00A guy we saw earlier on this
00:01road trip make his major league
00:02debut now today Cesar Perdomo
00:05makes his first big league
00:06start.
00:07Yeah it's been exciting for him.
00:08We saw a great adding for him
00:10in Pittsburgh but this gives him
00:11an opportunity now and those
00:1258 pitches he's absolutely
00:14attacking the strike zone 40
00:15strikes and what you're going to
00:16want to see here as his fast
00:19ball change up combination is
00:21what he really tries to live
00:22with Perdomo strikes out the
00:24shed got him to chase up high
00:26climbs the ladder.
00:27That's a good spot for him.
00:28He needs to be up out of the
00:29zone change eye level and the
00:31kid knows how to pitch a little
00:32bit but that 93 plays nice up at
00:34the top of the zone 3 2 got him.
00:36He threw the change up left on
00:38left and he pitched any time
00:40Perdomo's doing it got him with
00:42the change up again strike three
00:44you know you kind of want to get
00:46beat with your best pitch and I
00:47feel like that's his change up
00:49strike three we got a challenge
00:50coming at strike three.
00:53Calls confirm New York has one
00:54challenge remaining.
00:55It's an 0 2 change up where he
00:57wants to put it just tugs it
00:58just a little bit pops out one
01:00up now it's Jonah Cox's turn to
01:02fight the sun and make the catch
01:05out number three big chopper to
01:09short Haas has to wind up and
01:12throw out Vientos and that's
01:14exactly what Christian cost did
01:16this time a fly ball to right
01:17Jung who Lee will get there
01:20another 2 2 Soto on the ground
01:23Aldrich he'll step on the bag and
01:25now throws the ball back tag got
01:28him double play.
01:30The biggest story I think is
01:32Cesar Perdomo making his first
01:33big league start.
01:34He's been fantastic.
01:36They pushed him early got a
01:37couple full counts out of him
01:38in those first couple innings
01:39but then really settled into a
01:41nice group just that one walk
01:42there late didn't come back to
01:44hurt him at all was able to turn
01:46the unconventional double play
01:47but got it got out of the inning.
