00:55अमकाहरी इस फिल्म विज बिगिंस इन भोपाल, भोपाल से शुर्ट, बट बिग सब्सक्राइज, I am very blessed
01:05sometimes to meet human beings on this journey of life for as long as I have.
01:11One such interaction happened earlier this year with a man who I think is an absolute
01:18musical genius of our times, like our people, an absolute musical genius who has very kindly agreed to be here
01:42today.
01:46Raghav, thank you for being here. I am going to take this liberty and ask you, what is your first
01:51Aasha Bosle memory?
01:53What did you ask me? First Aasha Ji memory. It's very interesting, kyunki jab mene shuruwaat ki thi,
02:00to a song really, you know, clicked with me and this was a part of my first album.
02:07In fact, the first song that I actually released when I came to India after my education,
02:11in Australia was Cultural Amalgamation.
02:16Usgaane ka naam tha and usgaane ke andar, Aasha ji ke do gaane tha,
02:23O Mere Sonare and Aona Gale Lagaona.
02:28One of two of my favorite songs and especially Aona Gale Lagaona,
02:31I really, really, you know, took two
02:34and I created a version around it with English lyrics,
02:38with so many different things. So, that was something that happened and of course,
02:42I've been inspired by her for years and years and years, isharo isharo. I mean, there are just songs
02:49that you cannot, you know, once you hear them and if you've grown with them, because my parents used to
02:54listen to them,
02:54so I used to listen to them and wo ek baar agar aapke bloodstream mein ghush jane.
02:59I will interrupt you. We are lucky that even his parents are here today with us.
03:03So, thank you. Thank you uncle and auntie for being here. Very grateful.
03:07Thank you. So, yes, Aasha ji has been an incredible part of, I think, every musician's upbringing as a musician
03:18and, you know, it's very sad that she's not there with us, but I'm very happy and very proud and
03:23very,
03:23I mean, it's amazing that you got her to sing the last, you know, we were planning to do collaborations
03:29with her
03:29and we were in talks. But of course, what to do, what not to do, all of that was happening
03:36and of course, at that time, then her health declined very badly and we lost her.
03:41But her memories, her music stays on for as long as there is music.
03:47Thank you. Thank you for sharing that, Raghav. So, Raghav has very kindly agreed to not just do a rendition
03:56of Aasha ji's last song, which is there in the film, correct me?
04:01That's right.
04:01But he's bringing a king out of his pack, which is that he's going to pay an absolute homage to
04:09her today
04:10by performing cultural amalgamation.
04:13The first song that I did in 2003 and I hope to give you a two-minute glimpse of that.
04:19Thank you so much.
04:20Thank you so much.
04:20Thank you.
04:22Thank you.
04:36Thank you.
04:56Thank you.
