08:20excuse me
08:23you wanted content

09:42yet
09:43you investigated my whole life
09:46don't
09:47you didn't marry me
09:48you built a case around me
09:51i married you because you were the only honest person in that family
09:58that's not trust
09:59that's profiling
10:08tampered with
10:10you knew my mother's death might not be an accident
10:14i knew there were irregularities
10:19and you said nothing
10:21so what else did you hide
10:27talk
10:28you want the truth
10:29or the version you can survive tonight
10:34try me
10:35your mother's records were altered
10:36someone wanted the death buried fast
10:39and you sat on that
10:41because suspicion isn't proof
10:43and if i brought you in too early
10:45they would have erased more
10:47don't dress control up as protection
10:50you think i enjoyed this
10:54i think you like deciding what people get to know
10:59i was trying to keep you alive
11:02you don't protect people by lying to them
11:06sir the car is ready
11:09fine let's go pretend
11:17don't touch me unless a camera's on
11:20there are six cameras on us right now
11:24convenient
11:28you left before dessert
11:30that's practically a scandal
11:31i'm a little busy finding out
11:33my husband built our marriage on withheld evidence
11:35then hate me honestly
11:38don't hide behind sarcasm
11:41you don't get to ask for honesty
11:42after feeding me half-truths
11:44because i'm done pretending
11:46i don't care what this does to you
11:48you don't get to say that now
11:53hmm
11:55i'm here to reclaim my life
12:00olivia did your sister steal your wedding
12:05i don't want to call it stealing
12:09but i did lose everything
12:10public sympathy is pouring in for olivia bennett
12:18mrs bennett is here
12:22well there she is
12:27you left
12:28and while i was gone
12:30you took what wasn't yours
12:31i cleaned up what you abandoned
12:35dominic i panicked
12:37i made a mistake
12:37but this marriage was supposed to be mine
12:40supposed to is a useless phrase
12:42you're a thief scarlet
12:49i also brought the prenup
12:52signed for me
12:57you don't get to come
12:58back and act betrayed
12:59sweetie
13:01i've been cleaning up after you since we were kids
13:05you were always the girl standing behind me
13:07don't confuse proximity with worth
13:12funny
13:12you ran from the altar
13:14and i'm still the one standing
13:16standing in my place
13:19no
13:21i'm standing where you walked away from
13:26careful
13:27you've always been easy to replace
13:29i'll make this simple
13:31leave before i force it
13:35why is ethan texting you
13:40because unlike you
13:43he knows who this family actually needs
13:48you met with olivia
13:50scarlet just listen
13:51no
13:52you listen
13:55why is she texting you
13:59dad's in debt
14:00bad debt
14:02olivia said if you step aside
14:03she'll fix everything
14:04so they're selling me again
14:05i didn't agree
14:06i just i didn't know what to do
14:08that's how they keep winning
14:10everyone says they had no choice
14:12mom said you'd understand
14:14because you always do the right thing for the family
14:19the right thing for the family has always meant the worst thing for me
14:22i'm sorry
14:23sorry doesn't stop a sale
14:26then stop trying to save people who keep selling you
14:30maybe i'm done
14:33many now ask whether scarlet bennett stole her sister's life
14:40no more hiding
14:46you look like you're going to war
14:49no
14:50i'm gonna stop apologizing for existing
14:55mrs drake
14:56are you prepared to step aside for your sister
14:59step aside
15:01for the woman who ran
15:04so you deny taking her place
15:05a place isn't stolen
15:07if someone abandons it
15:09are you saying mr drake chose you
15:13i'm saying i'm done acting like i'm less
15:16because other people treated me that way
15:21she's becoming a problem
15:27then let's make her a scandal
15:32how lovely
15:33a family dinner
15:37depends on whose family we mean
15:43since the press is so confused
15:46perhaps clarity is overdue
15:48i'd settle for honesty
15:53that would be a first
15:56say it scarlet
15:58say you were the substitute
16:01a graceful admission would spare everyone embarrassment
16:09enough
16:11why
16:13because the truth is inconvenient
16:16because my wife doesn't answer to women who ran from vows or hid behind manners
16:31it's gone sir
16:34nothing just disappears in this house
16:39so someone inside did it
16:41there may be a backup fragment from the west hall server
16:45pull everything
16:49wait rewind
16:56that's my mother
17:01the night before she died
17:03pause
17:04that fabric
17:05want to tell me why your mother's color is in my mother's last footage
17:14she came here for a reason
17:21she knew victoria
17:24more than that
17:25they were in the same legal dispute years ago
17:30you knew that too
17:31i knew pieces
17:32not the whole board
17:38if anything happens
17:39it's because she found out
17:47she was trying to expanse for
17:52that's why i looked into you in the first place
17:56what
17:57i got close to you because of your mother's case
18:06so i was a lead
18:12scarlet
18:13don't
18:13was i useful
18:15or was i chosen
18:19that pause told me enough
18:22it started a strategy
18:28it didn't stay that way
18:31you don't get credit for falling in love after using someone
18:34i know
18:36then know this too
18:38i'm done being part of anybody's plan
18:50from now on
18:51i choose me
19:03you moved rooms
19:04i moved boundaries
19:07you shouldn't do this alone
19:12that's exactly why
19:13i have to
19:18who sent that
19:24someone who wants me scared
19:30tell your security team to do one thing
19:33don't stop me
19:35then don't disappear
19:37we're live in 30
19:43no scripts
19:46let her speak
19:49mrs drake
19:50the public wants answers
19:53then they'll get mine
19:55not the version my family sold
20:00i was raised to believe
20:02my worth began
20:03where someone else's needs started
20:06are you accusing your family of coercion
20:09i'm saying i was never asked
20:11i was assigned
20:13ethan's gone
20:16i'm done being the substitute daughter
20:18the substitute bride
20:20the substitute life
20:30end it
20:31or he disappears
20:35who
20:41ethan
20:45they took him because of me
20:47lock traffic cams
20:48pull toll records
20:49track the plate
20:51i'm coming

20:57you don't get to lock me out
20:58when it's my family
21:02fine
21:02stay beside me
21:04not one step ahead
21:15ethan
21:20scarlet
21:21mom was scared
21:23scared of who
21:25victoria
21:26mom was scared of victoria
21:31that's scarlet
21:36you sure
21:37they've had enough nights
21:42what a lovely turnout
21:44perfect
21:45fewer people to repeat this to later
21:50oh god
21:51is this another performance
21:56no
21:57this is documentation
21:59you forged this
22:01because you couldn't keep a man
22:02honestly
22:06you still think this is about a man
22:10my mother died trying to expose theft
22:15careful
22:16grief makes some women theatrical
22:21and guilt makes others polished
22:25she made it all up
22:32she forged it
22:35then say it to my face
22:37not to a room
22:40fine
22:41you forged the records
22:43because that's what desperate women do
22:45and you
22:45did you know she offered to trade
22:48my my marriage for your debt
22:51we were trying to protect this family
22:54no
22:55you were trying to preserve your comfort
23:00you spent years teaching me i was despair
23:02the tragedy for you is that i stopped believing it
23:05you think he loves you
23:07he chose convenience
23:08and you victoria
23:10my mother was afraid of you
23:14fear is often confusion
23:16in cheaper clothing
23:17then explain the hospital edits
23:20the trust transfers
23:21the deleted footage
23:23this is insane
23:25stay out of grown women's crimes
23:32bank transfers
23:33hospital edits
23:35restored footage
23:38circumstantial
23:39elegant but thin
23:42then let's thicken it
23:45the signatures match the trust diversion order
23:50mom
23:53that still doesn't change what she is
23:56it changes everything
24:00i never chose the wrong bride
24:04she was the backup
24:11not anymore
24:15will you marry me for real this time
24:21this one
24:22was made to your measurements
24:26good
24:34no contracts today
24:37good
24:37i'm not signing one
24:41i can't promise chaos won't find us
24:43i can promise it won't face you alone
24:46i don't need rescuing
24:47but i'll take a partner
24:49deal
24:54you may kiss your bride
24:59for the first time
25:00i'm not standing in anyone's place
25:02i'm in mine
25:03i don't want to
25:03i want to
25:03i'm not standing in anyone's place
25:03i don't need to
