On September 8, 2026, Russia launched a massive missile and drone attack against Ukraine, targeting primarily Kyiv and its oblast, as well as the Odessa oblast. In Kyiv, two people were killed and 10 were injured, two of them seriously, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
