Cuautitlán Izcalli in Mexico’s State of Mexico was hit by heavy rain, flooding roads and disrupting traffic across the municipality. Water also surged through the drainage system near Quetzal Street as authorities carried out a controlled discharge from the El Ángulo reservoir.Several roads were affected, including Jiménez Cantú Avenue, while fallen trees and a collapsed wall damaged vehicles. At least one woman was injured after a tree fell onto a car.Emergency crews were deployed across Cuautitlán Izcalli as authorities responded to flooding, fallen trees and other storm-related damage.
