Some encounters don’t leave much room for subtlety.
Inside a store aquarium, a fish darts toward the front of the tank and bumps the glass as a woman stands nearby.
Chara told WooGlobe, “I was visiting a fish store with my friend, Jannette, and her kids. As I walked past this little guy, he suddenly launched himself at the glass. I got down to take a closer look, and his movements and reactions to me getting lower were cracking me up. I eventually had to film what he was doing.''
The moment plays out like a brief face-off, with the fish repeatedly closing the distance as she stays near the front of the tank.
It’s a small, contained scene that still manages to feel like a back-and-forth.
The clip was filmed in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
