Alix Earle and Ashtin Earle bring sisterly banter and creatively tingly sounds to a full ASMR skincare routine in this episode of ‘Hush & Brush.’ Ahead of their new Netflix reality series ‘Earle Meets World,’ the Earle sisters cleanse, serum and moisturize using Alix’s Reale Actives skincare line while opening up about filming with their entire family, the bickering that ultimately brought them closer and why they're slightly terrified to watch themselves on screen. 03:33And she told me that black eyeliner was really cool
03:37So she put black eyeliner all over my waterline
03:41And it changed the trajectory of my life
03:44I haven't been the same since
03:46I probably at the time was going to ride my bike to CVS
03:51And getting like the wet and wild blue eyeshadow palettes as well
03:55And like the turquoise eyeliners were my favorite
03:59And I feel like when we danced when we were younger

16:59but I think we came out stronger and closer in the end, hopefully. But it was fun. It
17:08was cool when we got to travel together and we had a lot of big family dinners and fun
17:17family trips and we really got to be there for each other through the ups and the downs.
17:25We had like a really great story arc with our stepmom, Ashley. You know, we kind of had this
17:32moment where we realized that she was like our age when we met her and we used to play
17:38pranks on her and I was like, if I was my age right now having to deal with two little
17:46girls' boy pranks on me, I would not like them. So we give her a lot of props for putting
17:54up
17:54with our bullshit. I'm buying you time to think of your answer. I'm so sorry I'm having a lot of
18:19fun. And on that note, I think the most surprising thing about filming with my
18:24family is my dad was really great and really into it, which at first he was like, I'm not going
18:31to be in this.
18:32Like, I'll be in the background. Like, you guys will be doing all the talking. But I think DJ loves
18:38the cameras. He loves the cameras.
18:41And I think he has a newfound career and maybe wants to be an actor. And he's going to go
18:47from construction to acting.
18:51And also, he's still managing us because we need him desperately. Yeah, don't quit on us, dad. Don't quit on
18:58us becoming a star.

19:54Some skincare brands say to apply your moisturizer like this for, like, more of a lymphatic. But, like, let's be

20:03Well, my face isn't going to be snatched if I pat my hands like that for five seconds. So, I
20:08just rub it in.
20:09I love this moisturizer so much. I put, like, ten layers on every morning. It gives you a really good
20:16glow.
20:18And it has a very nice lightweight feel, but it's also still very hydrating.
20:23It's really good as a primer for makeup.
20:26So, I was speaking to Stassi Schroeder in the fall about doing a reality show, and she said to just
20:37give it 110% and to trust the process and to lean in.
20:42So, I listened to her.
20:45And, Stassi, I hope you don't make me regret listening to you.

21:02I would say, for a piece of skincare advice, especially as someone who has always been very acne prone,
21:10sometimes it is more about fixing your skin barrier first before using a bunch of things that are super harsh
21:19on your skin,
21:20which is why we created this line that balances out each other well.
21:24So, when you use actives, make sure you are also supporting your barrier after and moisturizing your skin
21:31and taking care of it and not just stripping it.
