00:00The flamboyant redhead from the southern lands has been igniting cinema and television for many years, with a success that
00:05never fades.
00:06Nicole Kidman is one of the actresses who endure, without falling under the grip of time.
00:11A physique far from the beauty standards of the era.
00:14Tall, porcelain skin and curly red hair.
00:16A typically Dublin style look.
00:18But trends change, and success knocks at the door in the late 80s with Dead Calm, which opens the doors
00:23of Hollywood for her in the 90s.
00:25To last, you need a good agent, to choose your roles well, and to have luck.
00:29It's this recipe that propels her career.
00:31She plays the courtesan sateen in Moulin Rouge, earning her a first Oscar nomination, then Virginia Woolf in The Hours,
00:38for which she wins the Academy Award for Best Actress.
00:41One can't help but think of Tom Cruise when thinking of Nicole Kidman, and Eyes Wide Shut, a highly discussed
00:46and censored film at the time.
00:48Some rumors claim the film had precipitated their divorce, but they have always denied it.
00:53Still, an accomplished mother and businesswoman, we love seeing her on screen.

01:33It won't be silenced.
01:35We're riches and curse is true.
01:37You're afraid of your power.
01:39Well, I've seen what my power can do.
01:41The idea that they may have the same power terrifies me.
