00:00this was the big thing for me watching jonathan on labor day can he mix it up a little bit
00:03more
00:04do i still think there's room to mix in more pitches as he gets comfortable with it at the
00:08major league level absolutely but i love the whiff rate he does change up 33 times in this one right
00:1442 percent whiff rate on the pitch and he got five strikeouts on that pitch that's pretty dope we
00:20know about the former seamer it's about location location location would you like to see him a
00:25little bit more confident would you like to see him mix in the curveball a little bit more only
00:28through seven of them yes you'd love to see that because if he can do that and keep hitters off
00:33balance this is going to make him better he's just not as confident in it yet how do you get
00:38confidence
00:39guys in anything comes reps it comes to reps and this is what you're gonna have to see from jonathan
00:44but i thought it was relevant that he was mixing in some of the curveball and the cutter a bit
00:51more
00:51heavily in this one than we've seen and we know the organization has been working on this with him
00:56throughout this year after we the struggles that we saw from him in 2025 to just give him more weapons
01:03this is what he needs more weapons that he is confident in to keep hitters on off balance
01:08you
