00:00Cinco, cuatro, tres, dos, uno.
00:10In Buenos Aires, at the Bombonera,
00:14we have Boca Juniors versus Sao Paulo,
00:16an Argentina-Brazil Clásico
00:18in the first leg of the quarter-final
00:21in the South America.
00:30Marcos Antonio.
00:42Luciano,
00:44where it's that kind of position
00:45where he can do real damage.
00:48An opportunity now from a set-piece.
00:52Diago Amorrucci looking to take
00:54for Sao Paulo.
00:56First chance to test the Boca defense.
01:02I tell you what, safely, easily
01:04collects the match stats so far.
01:0755% of possession for the Brazilians.
01:21Mescaciba wins that aerial duel.
01:25Artur.
01:26He's off.
01:27It's the scampering wide forward.
01:30Knocks it past.
01:32Langlo, that's a classic ball in from Artur.
01:43Excellently dispossessed by Herrera.
01:46Ascaciba.
01:48It's poor on the edge of the area.
01:49There's a real opportunity here for the first.
01:51What a save from Monteiro to deny Sao Paulo.
01:59Luciano should have added to his tally this year.
02:06Boca make a real mess of it in defense.
02:12Not just as they to pass it out from the back, but also the amount of space afforded to Luciano
02:21there.
02:25The save by Monteiro leads to this test.
02:29Sao Paulo's defense from a set piece.
02:32First time this evening.
02:38Alan Velasco delivers.
02:44Not much on the penalty spot.
02:46Noxapaneh is on the edge of the area.
02:49He just pulled this shot.
02:50And the second sent in-game.
03:13Luciano.
03:14Luciano is waiting for the run from Iago, which he finally gets, it's Caleri!
03:24They're asking the question, Sao Paulo.
03:27Another real opening on the half-hour mark for the former Boca junior striker,
03:35the Sao Paulo captain, Jonathan Caleri.
03:40We knew that pass was coming from Luciano,
03:42and he's just waiting for the overlap by Iago Bollucci.
03:45Ascaciba, Flores, straight to Merentiel, who can turn.
03:50He just rushed it. However, they attack Slomparedes.
03:54Lovely pass for Velasco.
03:59He was enjoying his run of form.
04:02He picked up a serious injury after his $10 million move from Dallas to Boca Juniors.
04:10Velasco now enjoying the confidence installed in him by Rodolfo Arrua Barrena, the Boca Juniors' coach.
04:21He's becoming an instrumental, pivotal player for Boca.
04:24Here's Blanco now with space to run and attack. It's Blanco!
04:27Oh!
04:31Well, it's gonna take something special.
04:35He does like to get forward, Lautaro Blanco. Did really well to intercept that ball.
04:40Lovely interchange with Flores.
04:44He had Berentiel in the middle, but only ever had one thing in his mind.
04:52He's just over the...
04:55Monte, Villolo, Herrera, all-up four.
05:00Corner kick.
05:00But it doesn't make it past the first man.
05:03But it is.
05:11Gesture by Flores.
05:13And so, too, that look of...
05:15From Arrua Barrena.
05:18Really much about...
05:19We need to know about how...
05:22This first half has gone for Boca.
05:33It is half-time at the Bombonera.
05:38Not much to write home about.
05:40Goalless between Boca Juniors and Sao Paulo
05:44in this first leg of the...
05:46Come Volsua Americana quarter-final.
05:50We're back underway at the Bombonera in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
05:53Boca Juniors versus Sao Paulo.
05:56It's goalless as we go into the second period of play.
06:02In this first leg of the Sudamericana court.
06:05Blanco is on the overlap.
06:06This is Flores.
06:07Finds the left-packs.
06:08A lovely ball in.
06:10Great turn by Berentiel.
06:12And Boca have their goal.
06:19It's the first time...
06:21The Serena managed to put on that kind of attack.
06:25And it is deadly.
06:29Real composure.
06:32By Miguel Medentiel.
06:36To hand the Argentines the lead.
06:43Flores and Blanco link up down the left wing.
06:48It's a great ball in from the defender.
06:52And Berentiel shows real composure right here.
06:57It's a fine save from Rafael.
07:00But then it's just a reflex finish.
07:04From Miguel Medentiel.
07:07Who continues to keep his place in the Boca Juniors side.
07:12Filling in for the out-and-out strikers.
07:15Out injured.
07:17But he is delivering the goods.
07:18And he hands Boca Juniors a crucial goal.
07:23And lead in this Sudamerican.
07:26First up this attacking set piece.
07:28Clipped in by Artur.
07:32Great save by Montero.
07:39It was the centre-back Domingos Duarte.
07:41Who was the target.
07:43For this cross by Artur.
07:47Then in turn the Portuguese.
07:51Goes for gold.
07:52He was slipping, wasn't he?
07:53Just as he unleashed his shot.
07:56Good save by Montero.
07:58The penalties against Vela Sarsfield.
08:06How about that for a shot?
08:12Desperately close.
08:14Just wide.
08:16Alan Velasco.
08:20Who arguably had a better side of goal earlier this game.
08:24Failed to shoot that time.
08:28Rafael was taking no chances.
08:31Great strike.
08:33Just wide.
08:35There's a full-blooded challenge there.
08:37It's a 50-50.
08:37But it's a straight red card.
08:42For Duarte.
08:44The Sao Paulo centre-back.
08:49Well, he said this game was in danger of boiling over.
08:52And that's exactly what's happened.
08:54There will be a change and reverse of the decision here.
08:57Because certainly from the angle there you see.
09:00There's the contact with the ball which he wins.
09:06And there's no...
09:14There's no red card for Duarte.
09:21And Sao Paulo, if anything, wants the red card for Várez.
09:27Flank.
09:29Here is Flores.
09:32Velasco!
09:34He's certainly in the mood, isn't he?
09:40Certainly feels he has critics to prove wrong, Alan Velasco.
09:44It was a $10 million signing from...
09:50...Dallas in the MLS.
10:00It will be a long journey back to Sao Paulo for the supporters who've made the trip from Brazil.
10:08Because they've seen their side lose.
10:101-0 to Boca Juniors in this first leg of the Sudamericana quarter-final in Buenos Aires.
10:19Same thing.
10:26I've got to watch for a tour.
