00:40Sophie Cunningham actually called it she saw the writing on the wall the WNBA commissioner has

00:49announced that she will be stepping down or resigning at the end of this season which is

00:55quite interesting you know the one time there's even a little bit of pushback there's a little bit

01:01of controversy you tuck tail and run what do you know incredible incredible but here's Edith Cantor

01:11saying it perfectly they just resigned it just get this America instead of defining what a woman is

01:18right the cuckoo Kathy I call her Kathy Engelberg the commissioner decided to step down as a

01:25commissioner from the one of the biggest organization in America I mean I just want America to understand

01:30what's happening here but you know what what we are doing is working I want to thank all the parents

02:23happen but it would be hilarious absolutely hilarious but here's some more information about

02:28the situation at hand hi Jason well the timing of this is really notable because commissioner Kathy

02:35Engelbert and the WNBA have been facing major backlash over the league's handling of the basic

02:41question what defined a woman and now she's retiring the league collective bargaining agreement

02:47only says quote players who are women are eligible to play in the WNBA but doesn't define what a woman

02:54is and even after a task force meeting on transgender eligibility the league still didn't adopt a

03:00definition this controversy it all started picking up steam after Indiana fever basketball star

03:06Sophie Cunningham publicly said that biological men should not play in women's sports well that is when

03:13two former NBA players here and as cancer freedom and Royce White they decided to test the league

03:19themselves both publicly said they now identify as women and announced plans to enter the 2027 WNBA draft

03:27canter recently showing up to a chicago sky game sporting this shirt defining a woman as an adult

03:34human female well he got into a confrontation was ejected and later banned from sky home games

03:40and now he's suing claiming the team the city and the arena violated his first amendment rights

03:46commissioner Engelbert who has said transgender eligibility is quote a complex and nuanced issue

03:53now stepping down at the end of the year telling the associated press this quote when I first came

03:59to the league I intended to do this for three and a half years the seven and a half years

04:04exceeded that

04:04time this is a really good time given the financial transformation journey we have been on now Engelbert

04:11insists this was her decision to step down and she says she didn't feel any pressure to step down from

04:17the WNBA or those NBA stakeholders Jason Brooke thank you so much yeah okay okay you didn't feel any

04:26pressure yeah and I was born last night

04:33bro it's crazy like the stuff that these folks say that they think that we're just gonna go along

04:38with and believe well yeah I didn't feel any pressure I just happen to be stepping down right now when

04:43there's a whole lot of pressure I didn't feel it though

04:51man you can't make this stuff up man you really can't uh WNBA seems to be crumbling over one simple

05:01question what is a woman what what is a woman can't answer one question and the league is absolutely

05:11crumbling because of it hilarious while the reporter retirement of WNBA commissioner Kathy Engelbert is a

05:16win for women and an admission that the league's rules must change her retirement does not solve the

05:22systematic issues which must be addressed in order to protect women's sports if the WNBA is unable to

05:28define what a woman is then I NS Cancer Freedom will be more than happy to step in as commissioner

05:35lead this league back to greatness and restore fairness for all women I will bring common sense

05:40I will bring fairness and yes I will bring a dictionary so let's make WNBA female again

05:52it's hilarious because they're like caught in between a rock in a hard place right because if

05:59you don't define it well then you almost have to let Inez Cantor play and if you don't well then

06:07going to get another lawsuit but if you do define it well then you're going to piss off the the

06:17and 90% of your league is a part of the woke mob so what do you do then

06:28so I hey listen listen I I think I think um they should absolutely just define what a woman is

06:37just get it over with I agree with what um Charles Barkley said recently when he said um this this

06:44is silly just say oh you know say what a woman is and say you're not going to allow any

06:50we don't care if you're trans or whatever else if you were born a man you're not going to play

06:55you have to be born a woman and that is that end of discussion we ain't gonna talk about this

07:06literally all they have to do and they can't do it they had a meeting to define what a woman

07:13and left the meeting without defining what a woman is

07:19I'm gonna say that again for the people in the back that did not hear me yes the WNBA

07:25had a meeting on defining what a woman is because of the whole Enes Cantor situation

07:31and they left said meeting without actually figuring out how to define what a woman is

07:40that is where we are in this country with some folks

07:45that is just absolutely mind-boggling crazy the fact that you have a have to have a meeting

07:50to do that but then also on top of that you had the meeting and still didn't accomplish it

08:01you just can't make this stuff up and then of course you got you got Enes Cantor you know

08:05suing uh the Chicago Sky I believe the name the name of the team is um as you heard in

08:12that earlier

08:12clip so you got that lawsuit going on I believe he is suing the city of Chicago as well um

08:18because it

08:19does seem like he was being treated unfairly I didn't see him do anything wrong he got yelled at

08:24he got walked up on yeah he stood up out of his chair but he didn't walk actually out onto

08:29the court

08:29he stood on the baseline which lots of people walk on the baseline uh anybody that's ever

08:35watched an NBA game or been to an NBA game knows people walk across the baseline people that are

08:42sitting otherwise where would people walk that are sitting courtside when you're sitting courtside

08:46your your feet are literally on the baseline they're literally on the sidelines so when you

08:53get up to walk out to grab a drink or whatever or snack you're walking on that baseline or on

08:59the

08:59sidelines so it's not illegal to walk on said sideline he didn't touch anybody according to

09:05him he didn't say anything crazy so what's the issue I'll tell you what the issue is he's Enes Cantor

09:12and uh he he's put them in a tough spot and they don't like it so to me it looks

09:19like they're treating

09:19him unfairly so hey listen I hope he wins this lawsuit against against them and when they try to deny

09:26him his ability to play in the WNBA I hope he sues them again and wins that lawsuit as well

09:34and bankrupts the WNBA that would be that now that would be hilarious if he bankrupted the WNBA

09:41now of course the NBA would probably come in afterwards and you know dump a boatload of cash

09:47in there to try to you know reinvigorate it or whatever but I think it would be hilarious if he

09:52did that

09:52just bankrupted them because this is just silly man it's just silly so anyway I just wanted to

10:06another one if he's actually denied entry into the WNBA draft um but then also the commissioner of the

10:13WNBA all of a sudden is resigning but she doesn't feel any pressure to resign according to her get in
