00:34Grazie a tutti per fare questa lunga e storica vista di quando abbiamo iniziato e cosa ha
00:41fatto da allora, ma siamo molto felici che ora il processo non è concretizzato ma anche
00:47producendo risultati. È vero che è stato un tempo lungo, è vero che è stato anche un
00:51frustrating time, sometimes very lengthy, sometimes really slow or paused, but things
00:57have dramatically changed in the last years. What you mentioned is absolutely true. We
01:01want to use every opportunity, every minute, and really capitalise as much as possible in
01:07making the process a success, first for Albania, but we think also for the European Union.
01:12you, I mean, many remember the promise that was made to the Balkans in 2003, 2003, 23 years
01:19ago, a generation ago, that the future of the Western Balkans belongs to Europe, but still
01:24we are outside. So what has happened in the last two years is absolutely what needed to
01:28happen. We have opened all the chapters, we have met the interim benchmark, which is the
01:34most difficult part, making sure that there is no more comeback. That's how the process deems
01:40this step. And then we have started the final phase of negotiation, which is the closing
01:44of chapters. We have closed in July three chapters. We'll try to close as many as
01:47possible during the end, I mean, during this period of the year. And then our goal, our
01:53ambition is to close the negotiations in 2007. But for admission, there also will be need
02:00for more time. And we think that by 2030 Albania should be and will be, and this is my job,
02:05this is my work, of course, with other colleagues and the negotiating team to make sure that
02:09this happens so that Albania, by the end of the decade, find itself as member of the European
02:13Union.
