Thai protesters rallied in front of the Israeli Embassy in Bangkok on Thursday (Sept 10) against allegedly inappropriate land acquisition strategies and offensive tourist behaviour.
Led by former yellow-shirt leader Sondhi Limthongkul, the protest follows months of complaints about illegal landholding, disrespect towards local culture and proliferation of religious houses for Israelis, echoing those made by some locals in the Philippines and Sri Lanka.
