00:08so over here by default what you see in the time code is milliseconds so you can see that this

00:1526.300 milliseconds but if I were to go around over here onto one frame forward you can see that

00:21does not go up exactly by one value but it goes a lot and sometimes this might be confusing if
00:29especially if you come around from other editing softwares so what you can do is you can change
00:34this around into frame based time code so in order to do that now what you can do is you
00:39can go around
00:40into settings and then you can go around over here onto in timeline show frame numbers once you click
00:48on it what happens is that once you close it you can see that it changes around so if I
00:52were to click
00:53on one frame forward now you can see that it is 26.12 click on it click on it and
00:59it goes progress
01:01wise so it shows the frame number instead of the milliseconds now so now if I were to go over
01:08here
01:08it says 25 26 27 28 29 and then after 29 it says 27 how how so so if that
01:16doesn't make sense at first
01:18that is because this is the number of frames that the video has so per second this video is based
01:23on 30
01:24frames per second so what is happening is that each 32nd each one second 30 frames are shown and that
01:32is
01:33why this is how it is coded so over here in this case 0.29 is the end of one
01:39second and then once that
01:41ends it starts the next one and 27.00 is frame 1 this is frame 2 frame 3 and so
01:48forth and it cycles
01:49on frame 29 so depending on the frame rate you have on a video so if you have a 60
01:55frames per second
01:56video then the value will be 60 if it's a 50 frames per second video the value will be 50
02:02and so forth
02:03so especially if you come from other editing softwares then you might be familiar with this
02:07but if you are still confused and you want to get on to the millisecond route then you can go
02:13around
02:14and go to millisecond so now what happens is that the value becomes the same and as you go through
02:19right here what happens is that uh it does navigate along with the frame but what happens is that the
02:26value is shown in milliseconds so as you go forward just like this you can see that it goes all
02:32the way
02:33up to 900 000 and then on to 28 just like that on to the next second and that is
02:39how you can toggle
02:40between frame time code and second time code inside of a lossless cut so if you guys learn something as
