01:13interviews when we were kids when we were kids we're just children I think the first time we met
01:18can I can I share the story yes let's I think it was a snow job that we used to
01:22do these snow job
01:23shows that much music and they put us all in a hot tub of course to get to know each
01:28other of course
01:29yes I think shifty shell shock reality crazy time was there yeah good times yeah and there's been a
01:34lot since there has great to see you though you too nice to catch up with you it's so great

01:39that you're doing this show at Second City it's so exciting tell us a bit about it well you know
01:42Chris Chris Van Vliet Chris Van Vliet is renowned for his amazing interviews I haven't done anything in
01:48Toronto so I do these are like this year was the first crush tour because I do get once in
01:53a while
01:53people are a lot people say you know you're my first crush so we thought we'd run with it and
01:58it's we'd put the first crush tour it's not crushing people like I mean I also crush people
02:02obviously but no so first crush and yeah I crush hearts and people there you know so we put the
02:08first crush tour together and everyone's like when's the Toronto date and it's important to make it
02:13special because it's home so we had this opportunity Smackdown is at the Scotiabank Arena
02:18that evening and we thought we'd be the perfect pre-show so people can come do the interview see
02:23that live do the meet and greet and and then we're doing like a whole immersive experience so

03:04those stories okay right okay sure yeah you do that makes sense I can't give it all away Rick
03:10but give us a little teaser of what we can expect well here's the thing about Chris he's a great
03:15interviewer he is and a lot of the times you know as you know we've done interviews you do interviews
03:19for when you're in the business for 25 years you do a lot of interviews and you don't want to
03:23have
03:23that same boring you might as well just go to Wikipedia yeah so Chris is great about really digging in
03:27and getting those questions that maybe people don't know about so I want people to come
03:30and like leave with some new Trish information Chris is great he might he may even remind you
03:35of things that you may have forgotten absolutely oh yeah that's what he's great about doing and
03:39and we're actually going to throw it to the fans so we're going to be like let us know some
03:42of your
03:42questions then they'll actually come up and do some interactive like Q&A so it's going to be such
03:46a fun night I'm really excited about it when I read this next fact I couldn't believe it like
03:50you look exactly the same the same way you look the day I met you I don't I can't believe
03:55you've
03:55been doing this for 25 25 plus 26 25 plus years yes officially yeah can you share with us Trish
04:04and
04:04there you are right there looking a little like Britney Spears there yeah I mean those eyebrows are
04:10something definitely 2004 or something the ultimate uh favorite memory in wrestling living this life of
04:18living this life oh gosh I've had so many I will tell you that actually so this obviously wrestling back
04:24in the day we were fighting to have a voice because women were kind of side pieces and we worked
04:29really
04:29hard to become sort of on par and be a viable part of the show with the men we finally
04:33got to that level
04:34when I retired in 2006 um and then since then I always say this the women of my day kind
04:39of built a
04:39foundation but then the new women came and built a skyscraper like the stuff the women are doing now
04:44yes it's really everything we could have dreamed of really did pay for you know they're like
04:48I mean thank you yes but they are just their main eventing right so in in 2023 I got the
04:53chance
04:53to go back and dip my toes into the current waters and in 2025 last year we were at the
04:59I'm gonna say Sky Dome you might call it the Rogers Center well we called the Sky Dome back in
05:04the day
05:04back in the day right Rogers employees Rogers Center yes um my children got to see me wrestle for the
05:12so like I started in 2000 had my children like did my wrestling had my children built my businesses
05:18but then I got to go back and actually wrestle live in front of my kids for them to actually
05:22see
05:22that was super special to show your family where it all began for you yeah oh gosh I can't believe
05:27we don't have much time left um why why are women's sports because you've been seen at different
05:32functions for the tempo the north uh NSL soccer league as well why is it so important for you to
05:40give back and support women's sports well I just I look at what it's done for me as a woman
05:45you know
05:46being in this business for so long and being around it and the camaraderie that it does and the
05:49the the life skills that it gives you being in team um and it's and again from coming from a
05:54male-dominated world um which often not like it used to be like that now we're seeing we have
05:59women's sports is taking off you know so it's like just I want to be a voice I want to
06:02be able to
06:03I knew how hard it was to fight to be heard and so now the women are out there and
06:06they deserve that
06:07because they're they were working just as hard as the men you know doubt about it we're out of time
06:10but I want to quickly show off before we go to break your clothing line oh I thought you were
06:15showing up your muscles show off the pipes sorry no no but there's a clothing line that can we
06:19quickly talk about yeah I'm working with a Toronto-based company called chalk line and they do these
06:22pop culture things so um the video game back in the day was I was on the loading screen and
06:28people
06:28go crazy about it in wrestling so we put it on a jacket and it's dropping next week at my
06:33Toronto
