In this amusing footage, Zoe Lindsay captures the moments following her rescue of a feisty seagull with an injured wing, which she managed to wrap in her dressing gown. Zoe appears slightly frantic as the agitated bird expresses its discontent. "I found a young seagull with a broken wing, calling out for help and unable to take flight," she explained. "I hurried to my car parked in a multi-story lot to find something to assist, and the only item I had was a dressing gown. I returned just in time to scoop it up and dash back to my vehicle. Upon closer inspection, I realized it was much larger than I initially thought. Unsure of what to do next, I recorded a video to share with friends about my experience. I drove home for 25 minutes during rush hour with the bird wrapped in the gown on my passenger seat, squawking in distress while I worried it might escape and cause chaos in my car." Zoe mentioned that with her mother's help, they ensured the bird was fed and comfortable until the SSPCA arrived to take over.
