"The Prophet (ﷺ) asked a riddle that stumped his companions. Can you guess the answer?"
Did you know the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) used riddles to teach his companions? In Sahih al-Bukhari 61, he asked: "There is a tree whose leaves do not fall, and it is like a Muslim. What is it?"

While the elders thought of complex desert trees, young Abdullah bin Umar correctly guessed the answer in his heart but stayed silent out of respect. The answer? The Date-Palm Tree.

Why is a Muslim like a Date-Palm?

Consistency: Just as the palm tree doesn't lose its leaves, a Muslim's faith remains firm in all seasons.

Benefit: Every part of the palm tree is useful (fruit, wood, leaves). Similarly, a Muslim is a source of goodness for everyone around them.

Resilience: Palm trees withstand harsh winds, just as a believer stays patient through trials.
