Baxter's getting old, and last year he went deaf. 🐾
Hearing us come home used to be his favourite part of the whole day — he'd be first to the door, every time.
But now he sleeps right through it. He can't hear the car, the door, or us calling his name.
So Rusty took it upon himself. The second he hears the car in the driveway, he races to the window… then runs straight back and gently paws the old fella awake — just so Baxter's always there at the door to say hello. 🥹
