00:00I sat down for three hours, three hours with these two ladies, Jamel Hill and Kerry Champion.

00:07I didn't know what they were going to ask other than about the NABJ and of course the Jasmine

00:11Crockett's and Kamala Harris's of the world. There was no prep. There was nothing orchestrated.

00:16I rolled up in there and one of the first things that I did after saying hello was making sure

00:21that it was very, very clear to them. I got nothing but time. And yet I see them post-show

00:26talking about interpretations, what people are insinuating, comments emanating from people about

00:33them, et cetera, et cetera. I even heard Kerry Champion say, I don't know if it benefited us.

00:39Really? Ladies and gentlemen, when I showed up at that show the other night, they had 9,000

00:44subscribers since that time. And then largest video was at about 35,000 of any show they had done.

00:49Once I sat down with them, they picked up over 30,000 subscribers. They've had over a million

00:54views, 500,000 over YouTube. But Kerry Champion is saying she doesn't know if it did them any good.

01:02A simple thank you would have sufficed. That would have been nice. I did take time out of my

01:07busy schedule. How many people do you know sit down with somebody for three hours? But that's

01:10what I did because of my respect for two former colleagues. And in the case of one, which is that

01:17of Kerry Champion, reciprocation seems to be a hard thing to come by. So Stephen A. Smith recently sat

01:24down with Kerry Champion and Jamel Hill following a situation with the NABJ. I believe it's the

01:37National Association of Black Journalists. Yeah. NABJ. And that whole little debacle situation where they

01:46gave him a bad award and whatnot. And, you know, Kerry Champion and Jamel Hill had a bunch of stuff

01:52to

01:52say. And so he put them on front street. Okay. He pulled up and I'll just say this. There was

02:02a whole

02:02lot of lies after the fact. And also Stephen A. Smith requested that the entire sit down interview podcast,

02:13whatever you want to call it, be released to the public, the entire thing with no edits whatsoever.

02:22Just drop it. And that's where Stephen A. messed up because he should have brought his own camera crew

02:29and recorded the podcast as well as like a backup just in case they did what we all knew, you

02:36know,

02:37what happened. Of course, there were edits. Of course, it's been chopped and edited. And so there is

02:46quite a bit of the sit down missing from what they released. And so, yeah, when you when you do

02:54sit

02:55downs, especially with people on the left, you got to bring your own camera crew with you to record

03:01also. And if they're not willing to allow you to record to, then just don't do the interview.

03:07You know, because of course, you're going to get the edits and the chops and all, you know, because

03:11their ideas and their stances don't stand up to scrutiny. So they don't want to look bad when they

03:18look silly in the interview. So they cut it out. Or just tell them to live stream it. Live stream

03:25it.

03:25That that's also another way. You don't want me to be able to bring my camera. Cool. We're going to

03:30live stream it. We're going to live stream this entire podcast. It's going to be live aired to the

03:37public. So ain't going to be no edits. Ain't going to be no cuts, chops and none of that. Nope.

03:43live to the public. So we got to do, man. So what we got to do? But they're liars.

03:52So Carrie champion called my boy, Stephen A. a liar. But days later, her own story changed.

03:58First, listen closely. Carrie starts denying she even called Stephen A. But Stephen A. cuts her

04:02off before she even finished the sentence. Listen closely. You wanted the job for Sports

04:08Center. You wanted to come back. That is not true, Stephen A. I know you lying. That is not true.

04:14are disagreeing right now. Then we'll disagree. Because let me tell you. I don't lie. I never call,

04:20neither do I, my friend. It's quite clear she was about to say I never called. Now watch what she

04:24says days later. There's a worldwide debate now suggesting I wanted Molly's job. There is no

05:15calling somebody else a liar, make sure your own story stays the same because the internet keeps

05:20receipts and this receipt has Carrie's name all over it. I love you sis, but can you at least keep

05:25it 100? Let's do more to stick together instead of the lies to tear us down. So yeah, that sets

05:57It was last week to go up to I heart studios in midtown Manhattan as a courtesy, the two colleagues

06:09that have been coming at me for a vast variety of reasons spanning the last year, year plus or so.

09:57because I didn't speak to them until I arrived there.

10:07because I didn't want any edits.

10:10I wanted everybody to see

10:12every word that was uttered.
