00:01Yeah, I mean, the difference is, you know, the stage is a lot bigger now,
00:04but there's a lot of things at stake, you know,
00:08because he's at the cusp of, you know, perhaps a great performance here.

00:14So I think it's very important that he doesn't fight, you know,

07:08he may feel a little more like home here tonight with the large Polish contingent that is in the building.

07:21He's a very laid-back guy, very confident.
07:23But you're right, I mean, they got a lot of Polish people here in Newark, New Jersey,
07:27so that's gonna help his confidence, absolutely.

07:32water doesn't wet him and the wind doesn't dry him.
07:34Basically, he's emotionless.
07:35And yesterday, that's what he kind of felt like.
07:37You know, he's like, he wasn't really feeling the pressure of the moment.
07:39And his opponent, he'll be fighting out of the red corner,

08:39and really comfortable with where he's at at this point in his career,

08:53He turned pro at only 17 years of age.

09:03So when you can win a title at a World Championship at a young stage in your career,

12:58And for you, Pauly, what does a good game plan for Vito Milneke look like?
13:03Um, you know what?
13:04Box, don't let Gorgele get into a rhythm where he can make you uncomfortable.
13:07And most importantly, don't let Gorgele get confident.
13:09Because these awkward guys, you know, with not a lot of knockouts,
13:11but they rely on activity.
13:13You start to get them uncomfortable, you know, the fight could turn a little bit ugly,
13:16and it gets more difficult to win.
13:18And I believe the way Vito's gonna do that is by, you know, pushing him back.
13:22Don't let him grow, you know.
13:23You know, good jab and touch the body.
13:26Hit him in the arms.
13:27Don't allow him to think so much.
13:28Because like you said, Pauly, if Gorgele gets in that little rhythm,
13:31he doesn't have a lot of power.
13:32But when he's attacking from making angles, it varies his combinations.

13:37He gets a little bit tricky, and it could make the fight complicated.
13:41And he's a rhythm breaker.

13:42You don't want him to break your rhythm.
13:44Changing levels early on the jab is Milneke up top and then down to the body.

13:53Gorgele undefeated, making his U.S. debut tonight.
13:58Was very confident when we talked to him in the fighter meeting.
14:00Said, look, all the pressure is on Vito Milneke.
14:03But I've been waiting for this opportunity, an opportunity to fight abroad here in the United States.
14:07And I want to take full advantage of that.
14:14So, Milneke, about 30 seconds ago, went to the body with two hands.
14:17And that's an important part of the game plan.
14:19Exactly.
14:19I noticed that.
14:20And you heard his trainer, Ronnie, shows that.
14:21There you go.
14:22Because that's what they talked about.
14:23They want to start early downstairs, you know,
14:26because it's going to pay off in the second half of the fight if the fight goes that long.

14:30And, of course, you know, Gorgele uses that high guard with his, you know, earmuffs type of guard.
14:37So, the body shots do open underneath the elbows a little bit if Milneke chooses to take advantage of the
14:42openings.
14:43Gorgele also telling us that he wants to use more of his technical skill set to win this fight,
14:47be a counter puncher, and, you know, use a lot of movement, lateral movement.
14:51Nice combination there by Milneke.
14:53Body shot with the left hook and then uppercut with the left hand.
14:55Yeah, those body shots being very effective.
14:58I see Avito, you know, being that he's fighting in front of his hometown fans here,
15:04and, you know, there's a lot of stake here, but he's so relaxed, you know, with his jab,
15:08the way he's touching his jab, the way he's throwing his combinations.
15:12He's not really loading up with his punches.
15:14He just, he's letting him know.
15:16He's letting him go.
15:17That's what I mean.
15:18I'm liking the punch selection.

15:20Because, you know, he's not forcing anything.
15:21He's letting it flow.
15:22And Gorgele doing a lot of switching, which is actually something Milneke and Ronnie Shields

15:29No, but he's a tricky guy in life.
15:32And like we said at the beginning, if, Gorgele, if you let him grow,
15:35don't let him do that kind of stuff.
15:37And I think Vito, by doing stuff like that with the jab going downstairs,
15:41he's not allowing him to be that kind of fighter.
15:44I'll tell you what kills confidence.

18:18But he didn't seem to, you know, have to, you know, be secluded to his room.
18:22They had him busy all week.
18:23Said fight week went by fast, you know, but it was good.
18:26I felt very comfortable.
18:27And the thing about, you know, going up the ladder this way and slowly but surely getting closer to the
18:32ultimate goal is that, you know, you're more and more under the microscope every single performance.
18:37Because with every single performance, you impress people, more people know about you.
18:40So now there's more critics, there's more opinions.
18:42Well, he's been under the microscope pretty much since his pro debut, guys.
18:45He's had all eyes on him when he made his pro debut on a top rank card, in fact, in
18:51this building.
18:55He's a jab right hand.
18:57And you've seen Garzelic switch southpaw and then back to orthodox here in the second round.
19:03Oh, that goes on the body side.
19:04You could, I mean, you could tell Vito is a stronger guy in there.
19:08And he's using that to his advantage.
19:11He's making the fight, he's dictating the pace of the fight.
19:14And that's putting Garzelic in uncomfortable situations that, you know, probably nobody's put him in those kind of situations.
19:21It looks like it's bothering him, Pauly.
19:24Yeah, yeah.
19:24And he's backing him up consistently.
19:26And Garzelic...
19:27He's not happy there.
19:28Yeah, he tried to react with the right hand.
19:29He gets hit with a check hook over the top of it.

19:35So he's keeping Garzelic alert constantly.
19:38And nobody wants to have to fight all three minutes of every round.
19:40That's a lot of stress.
19:41He's definitely keeping him in check, you know.

24:18Like, when you drop the guy, and then the crowd's yelling, this is your hometown fan.
24:21That makes you want to, I mean, you want to go for the home run, but he's not.
24:26He still put his punches together, being selected, setting up behind the jab.
