00:01Wow this is just brilliant ready steady go in Afghanistan sounded different but
00:06I tell you what Freya Sayer has some points to prove but he started on the
00:13right note winning the toss in the match referee team we've got Dean Koska
00:25you're talking about the bowling 10 overs
00:31once that just keeps ship on course
00:44is the first ball of this very iconic series
00:50starts on with wide very rarely see boomerang boarding a ball like this because he's on the
00:58money from ball number one taken guided to slip the umpires will check for sure but this is a
01:12great delivery from boomerang rising on a length and instinctively just guided to slip low catch so
01:20this might get a little
01:35yeah
01:36yeah
01:36Yeah
01:36two three frames please
01:39two three frames back back
01:43rock and roll
01:44from it please go back yeah it's a clearly take the case my decision for
01:57back-screen
02:10as if they're playing test cricket look at this yes the earlier two deliveries where the ball had
02:15kept a little bit then he bangs this one in short and gets the ball to climb up and it's
02:20a very good
02:21catch for a tall guy he's almost six feet tall shake Sharma to bend down low lovely shot good
02:31cricket mind you the ball was up he's trying to get it to swing but the bat came down so
02:36beautifully
02:37well that's a lovely shot very very good Chuck trying to just put him off that lane because
02:43that's where he gets the ball to swing you can see he's gone short a more run down the
02:48legs at you extras today from India for more runs bonus runs for Afghanistan 18 for one
03:01cross bat just whacked that
03:06when flat has it gone all the way it has has to be one of the lowest sixes that we've
03:14seen on this
03:15ground this is a magnificent shot this is a magnificent shot look he hasn't really done
03:23anything apart from just transfer his weight and then he's played it my god this is just maybe what
03:3110 feet above more than the distance distance wasn't too bad as well now this one is all about timing
03:41Afghanistan with a few shots that they've played take a breath away that again is offline offline easy pickings for
03:59he's so good this is a run out the sun kitchen is so good in the field primary skill wicked
04:06keeping
04:08second skill getting run outs like this from the deep ball it gets rid of the ball this was great
04:16quite firmly
04:17at first I think the skipper thought that it is going to be a boundary he wanted to come for
04:21the second yes
04:21he gets a response but then the
04:28that's where it goes just mentioned boomerah and short third in a catching position that's exactly where
04:38he's taking the catch the other two shot third he waited for quite a bit
04:47now he just guided it as if he's giving catching practice and boomerah is not going to drop those
04:52so yes i are coming in from the deep mid-off big wicket big wicket again sadik was looking good
05:05okay
05:07last night
05:11is on his way suddenly afghanistan are losing their way
05:17not been able to put together the beginnings
05:19akshar patel you called it
05:20and he enjoys bowling here in delhi
05:23and just a bit of a movement and that's enough to create that wrong shot and look at the catch
05:28Nitish Kumar ready looks fit and that's good news for India a brilliant catch another breakthrough
05:37cleaned him up that's what he does he's a clean-up merchant and immediately succeeds
05:43Varun Chakravarti in amongst wickets and Afghanistan are really saying that over and
05:49so plenty of much done already and this one really didn't have the answer no blue came
05:55in back and dislodged the furniture straight away among the wickets Varun Chakravarti and
06:02sends back in 2024 making it all the way to the semi-fine and the T20 World Cup well
06:11a welcome boundary that coming off to a very long break now this is his first ball in the
06:18sitting in the dish from our ready that has been smashed that's the kind of welcome a
06:26bowler gets in t20 cricket and just imagine of ready was shot again and that's gonna be
06:32football the amount of runs that have been scored in that region some stage will have
06:37a look at the wagon wheel and you can count the number of runs that have gone to the
06:41left and right of Sanjay Sampson good shot and it's going for four need a better effort from the
06:54policeman works behind the square on the onside runs here for as much lucky again they've been at
07:11least three or four of those kind that have fallen
07:16that looks like a good shot that another flat six
07:22it's one that was maybe just 10 meters high this is somewhere around that region the final push now
07:31big hit Akshay Patel down the ground and it's gone for six so a great start to the final five
07:40for
07:40Afghanistan and it's Azmatullah Omar Zai who's leading the charge yes this is an experience fair
07:47this is probably the last recognized batting fair and they have taken their time and now in the last a
07:55few
07:55overs they try and bounced up short and this has been dispatched in between deep mid-wicket and square
08:05leg and Azmatullah Omar Zai has suddenly picked things up test match it was looking good it is very
08:13good timing that allowed the ball to come on and then swung it to square leg the earlier ones were
08:21shot shot and that's been dealt with
08:28he should be waiting for it and he just played up almost like a tennis shot there it is the
08:35lower delivery
08:37what a good strike this is much needed partnership
08:43such a dynamic format this is and that is why you are seen as a dead bowler coming back with
08:51a
08:51terrific delivery here and get rid of more Madnabe who's absolutely livid with himself
08:59yes what a fine delivery to come back through after being smashed for a sixth fires in the Yorker
09:07132 kilometers per hour look at that might have gone off the head his bat might have got stuck but
09:15it was
09:15still a very very good Yorker
09:23another one add another to his kitty into the safe hands of Aksha Patel and Rashid Khan storage stay at
09:32the
09:32and the wicket ends
09:34goal at about 138 kilometers per hour
09:39you can see didn't quite get it in the middle of the bat more towards the bat manufacturer's name she
09:46wasn't able to get the distance he only got a height another wicket for our steep in at number nine
10:04and he's already started walking no rammer favorable bounce but he only had one stump to aim at and such
10:13an easy throw from Shreyas
10:15yeah and afghanistan have lost no ram at immediately yes he was deep in the crease as well so yet
10:22that extra bit of to cover and
10:25and this is terrific work by the India captain
10:31such a well-made 50
10:34when the chips were down Azmatullah Omar Zai coming up with an invaluable knock his second half century in this
10:42format
10:44yes it's been a fine innings four boundaries and two sixes in that
10:50absolutely terrific that partnership with Muhammad Nabi has taken
10:58full toss
11:01and that's a biggie
11:03and that's the reason it didn't take a single
11:06of the previous delivery it had gone too long off fielder
11:10but he decided that he's going to take this final over
11:13that's why
11:17slower delivery going at a full toss right height as well
11:21easy
11:23easy picking sis first but for somebody who's well set somebody who's batting well
11:27somebody's got a half century under his belt
11:31this was exactly the ball that he wanted
11:34the offside
11:35and that's why he's got that field but he likes that
11:39he likes that Azmat
11:41and another six through the offside this time
11:44for an all-rounder who's extremely well set
11:50well that's another fine shot
11:52again goal that pace but outside the offensive gave him the room
11:56to open the face of the bat
11:58you can see that slower delivery would have been a wide
12:02but there it is
12:05yes these are short boundaries at the court club
12:08what a lovely edge to get
12:10at the right moment
12:13150 up for Afghanistan
12:18pass through the offside over the head of covers
12:21and Afghanistan have finished well
12:2321 runs coming on that final over
12:28and a fine hit from Muchib
12:34yes very very good
12:36hit that 21 of the final 156 for 8
12:58swings into his pads and off the mark with the delicious boundary there Sanju
13:05Samson this guy is a p20 factor and there he goes signed off on the first one
13:14more to come a lovely shot through the offside beautiful hands flowing ice on
13:22the ball great timing yeah this is slightly different from the big shots
13:30that Abhishek normally plays this is just getting on top of the ball a little more
13:36this is not one of those in a carefree shot where you think even if you get an
13:40edge beautifully done through the offside Sanju Samson it is as my Thomas I sure
13:51and has he picked out the fielder yes it seems so out there in the deep and as a
13:59result hasn't quite nailed it these are the kind of shots that he plays that
14:06ball was slightly closer to the body and with the angle maybe would have got the
14:15timing go straight over long mid off and over long off for a six
14:22well I tell you what then this dependent stop of the pitch the same bowler that had
14:28got Sanju Samson out has it taken the pace of noise seam up to came on nicely a
14:33little bit of bounce but this is what he's good at that swing of the bat and the
14:38commitment the earlier one was right up this was good laying and that's a long
14:45distance no wonder too easy this time shot and it's been pulled away before 14
14:55coming of that over India 32 for one wonderfully done just a smidge of gets
15:07runs we get to 305 innings this is a terrific shot this is four runs but as
15:16good as he said that don't go shot into his head please I think that's gone to
15:26Google out because this is with the pace to see generally shots of the offside
15:33behind point exit cover today he's explored the lakeside region this is a
15:39mission with a pickup shot it's a both left-handers
15:49into his pads again and in the gap she goes 50 up for India
16:00this is a huge over this has been slapped over covers 26 coming of that over
16:06hit him for the boundaries but in the gap and will run away to the fourth back
16:15forward and then looks to come forward and try and go over the top on the offside
16:23then a good over this so far and of course that's even better for the Indian
16:28side ishaan
16:31t20 I wickets no respect no respect place this beautifully for another boundary for
16:38four down the ground and out of the ground
16:48between these spectators
16:54hi and handsome the count please up love a check Sharma
17:00looks to take on one of the greatest t20 borders Russian Khan that's a better
17:07taste of public shake when he's that sort of form I'm gonna do that down the ground
17:13and out of the park and that's it is when as a batter once you start hitting
17:18boundaries then you don't see the ball as the cricket ball you see it as the
17:22football and so far for India and he will finish it off with the boundary
17:31finishes off that over in style 15 from 113 for one
17:35new remit now have a look at that my shankishin down the ground and we pick up a
17:41four with great amount of ease wasn't a bad delivery
17:51big boundary on the outside but it was still clear it will have a shake with great amount of ease
17:58it was high
18:01interested for a bit but with that sort of power they're gonna be outside that park make
18:07no mistake about it absolutely astonishing Abhishek Sharma and sweet he entertained
18:13the crowd too short and for the liking of Abhishek Sharma in picks that he picks
18:18the link really early as you called it a 76 meter six relief at the end because
18:23the feeder was there waiting for it
18:27this of course even better
18:33and back to back sixes he wants to finish things off and rather in quick time and this
18:38time around much cleaner and no chance for the feeder at all look at that the
18:43backflow now he's really got a quick backflow and 83 meter long six
18:55brilliant yeah that's been the word associated with him right through the evening you try and
19:00cut angles he finds a way to score extend stroke once again making necessary adjustment
19:11outside the leg stem but he still he managed to take his front leg out of the way and swung
19:15it
19:15beautifully short boundaries is taking full advantage here
19:23a full toss I don't think he's picked it at all but go straight to hand
19:28Rashid Khan picked it late started running late but he's got such a fine pair of hands
19:33a full toss does the trick and it's Abhishek Sharma the batter dismissed
19:40Abhishek Sharma on the overdrive fantastic take from Rashid on the boundary his commitment his
19:47concentration always spot on
19:51change in length full toss not but getting the timing brilliant absolutely brilliant from Rashid
19:59great adjustment and maintaining his balance and control
20:05and as you said every time he comes on to bowl everybody expects wickets
20:13just a quick turnaround between the games that's been hit hard hit straight and hit for four
20:21so
20:23flex taken on the boundary magnificent take from Rashid Khan
20:30is just a brilliant player period that was absolutely nailed you can see that expression from
20:38everyone it was going flat and I thought that maybe that momentum was going to take him past the boundary
20:45but not to be he held his balance he held his composure
20:50that was traveling overhead catch maintains his balance knows where the ropes are
21:04offer that matter limited overs Devinder and a bit of clumsiness on the field
21:15India winning by seven wickets a dominating display a miserable day out for afghanistan today
21:24yeah comfortably done India winning by seven wickets trying to push on the accelerator performing well
21:32first of the ball to set the tone
21:36a dominating comprehensive victory for India winning by seven wickets inside 14 overs
21:43as much getting
