00:00A three-decade dining tradition at Walt Disney World officially came to an end this weekend.
00:05Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill served its very last meals at Disney Springs on September 13th,
00:11closing the doors on the celebrity chef's 29-year run in Disney's Shopping and Entertainment
00:16District. The 250-seat restaurant, known for its pizzas, pastas, salmon, and chicken schnitzel,
00:23marked its final day with brunch service in the morning, followed by dinner into the night.
00:28Puck's connection to the district goes all the way back to 1997, when Wolfgang Puck Grand Café
00:34helped launch what was then called Downtown Disney. That original spot closed in 2017,
00:39and this bar and grill location reopened the following year as Puck's newest chapter there.
00:44Disney hasn't announced what's replacing the space, and there's no word yet on whether Puck will open
00:49anywhere else in Disney Springs. For the first time in 29 years, the district is left without a single
00:55Wolfgang Puck restaurant, closing out one of its longest-running culinary partnerships.
