00:04A 28-20 loss for the Cowboys to the New York Giants has people questioning if this team that they
00:10saw all the hype about in the offseason, in the preseason, really is going to have a chance at the

00:17It was a four-play stretch, starting with the Dak Prescott interception and three blown coverages right at the end
00:24of the second quarter that has people going, hmm, is this the greatest offense there is?
00:31And this defense, is it too young to hang with the meat dogs?
00:35Head coach Brian Schottenheimer said that this team got humbled and that he's not using this as an excuse, but
00:40that there are a lot of young guys out on the field.
00:43Quarterback Dak Prescott went 22-34 for 175 yards and two TDs plus that interception.
00:51Running back Javante Williams had 72 total yards, both receiving and rushing, and two touchdowns on the night.
00:58While both wide receivers, George Pickens and C.D. Lamb, they had a combined 72 yards, but C.D. Lamb
01:05getting one of those touchdowns.
01:07Schottenheimer said that it was the penalties that killed their ability to win.
01:11But why does he feel that this defense is different than last season's, what a lot of people are starting
01:17to get scared about after this week one performance?
01:19He said that the defense we saw isn't the team that he's been seeing in practice, let alone for the
01:25offense.
01:26And here's the thing, that hangover from this past loss, they can't be carrying that into next Sunday when the
01:32Washington Commanders come to Dallas for week two.
