00:00the proficiency xp event is here guys i'm going to go over it in this video and explain everything
00:06you need to know now if you are chasing expertise level 30 this is a very important event for you
00:12you've got one week weekend times three multiplier on proficiency this means if you've got a lot of
00:18resources to handle a lot of time to hand you can make some big chunks in your expertise okay if
00:24you have a look at the event menu it simply says increase your proficiency faster during the
00:29proficiency xp event and what i'm going to do in this video is explain to you what you need to
00:33be
00:34focusing on so first of all which everybody can do if you're chasing level 30 expertise is just
00:39naturally work on your expertise items so what we're going to do is bring up our expertise menu
00:46and within here you can see all the items that you need to expertise now with the more items that
00:52get
00:52added to the game every single season it actually makes it a little bit more easier to get to level
00:5630 i know it's a drag but bear with me what you want to focus on is your gear sets
01:01and your brand
01:02sets if you still got brand sets to get done if you still got gear sets to get done focus
01:08on these
01:09because what you can do is you can run a countdown or you can run a retaliation you can target
01:13these
01:14gear sets and brand sets and you can fill all of your slots with them i believe it doesn't matter
01:20what difficulty that you play uh so it means you can play in a lower difficulty if you want to
01:24to make
01:25things easier and even if you're running around with say six piece core strength or six piece or
01:30all the holdings that is going to really chunk out the proficiency levels on that gear and on that
01:36brand set to get you to proficiency 10 very quickly with those gear and brand sets so that's my first
01:42recommendation to do if you've got any brand sets left to do or any gear sets left to do make
01:47sure
01:47that you are just getting six pieces equipped and you're just playing with those builds until you get
01:52proficiency 10 on them you should be able to get all of these done this week on top of that
01:57while
01:57you're doing that what you want to do is focus on your skills as well because there are a lot
02:01of
02:01skills to do and again i just run two skills that you need to get proficient doesn't matter if you're
02:06not using them or not as long as they're on you while you're playing the game you're completing
02:09missions you're getting xp you're getting kills they're going to rank up at three times the rate so
02:15make sure you're running with two different skills at all times that you need to unlock proficiency on
02:19while you're doing that it's going to be chunking out of your level 30 expertise with the times free
02:24you've then got things like named gear exotics you've got weapons you can also do the same with
02:29things like that your specializations just make sure you're wearing things that need to get
02:34proficiency on them it's as simple as that you can run uh the same weapon in both slots to kind
02:39of
02:39double up on it as well so for example if you wanted to do an assault rifle and you needed
02:45the acr say
02:46you could run an acr in slot one and an acr in slot two that will double it up similar
02:51to how you do
02:52with the brand sets and gear sets by wearing all six to increase the gains you could do with weapons
02:57by wearing two of them so that anybody could do that you don't need any resources to do that anybody
03:02could just throw pieces on their builds and just run around on a lower difficulty complete missions
03:07get kills get proficiency very very quickly you will chunk the expertise this week if you're doing that
03:13alone there are some other tips so and what i'm gonna strongly advise now i meant i did a video
03:19last week and i mentioned this if you come into your character and if you go and have a look
03:24at your
03:24watch levels and if you're somebody that's a high watch level so this is only for people that over
03:30watch level 1000 really every watch level after what uh watch level 1000 is going to reward you with
03:36scavenging points i got 3088 currently you might have whatever you have now with scavenging
03:42points there's a resource which is very good for upgrading your proficiency levels it's the best
03:47resource to use it's printer filament so what you can do is reinvest your scavenging points into printer
03:55filament this week and what you can then do is head let's head back to the expertise menu i'm going
04:01to
04:01do something now that i need to do you'll see how quick it works so on assault rifles i'm missing
04:05one
04:05right now i'll go and find what assault rifle i need to make proficient and we're going to make it
04:11proficient and this is going to work at times free the rate as well so i need streamer if i
04:16go into
04:17research that and donate materials i can use printer filament and look how much it chunks it
04:22that's three times the rate which means you can get these through printer filament up to level 10
04:27very quickly as well this week so i i've just spent i was on i was capped out at 9999
04:33i just
04:34you see hard to use any printer filament at all there this week because it's at times free the rate
04:39and just like that that is done so what you can do is is with printer filament you can go
04:44through
04:46your proficiency see what you need to do and you can use printer filament to get them up and so
04:53i'm
04:53now at 56 out of 56 assault rifles let's see i'll do it again i've got a marksman rifle here
04:57that i need
04:58to get done i'll go find what it is it's incendia so we'll go into that we'll research it we'll
05:03donate
05:03some materials uh eight nine seven nine is where we're starting off on and once i get this to level
05:1010 you can see we're now at seven nine five nine so it's about a thousand printer filament needed to
05:16make something from zero to level 10 proficient now when you run out of printer filament what you
05:21can do is go back to what i'll say now watch go back to your scavenging points and then you
05:26can
05:26reinvest your scavenger points into printer filament so that you got max printer filament again or as much as
05:32you can get to then go and spend even more printer filament on those uh expertise uh proficiency
05:39levels and this is this is what you want to be doing this week uh you can get printer filament
05:44quite
05:44easily by farming mods you can farm retaliation you can farm countdown you can get loads of mods to drop
05:51you can get printer filament that way as well just dismantle mods you'll get printer filament for
05:56dismantling mods unfortunately that is not a times free the rate though i don't think so you are only
06:01going to get the normal ones and don't forget as well i know i'm mentioning printer filament but
06:06it's not just printer filament you can use any of these resources all of these are going to be worth
06:11times free it's just that printer filament is probably the most efficient way of doing it but
06:16i can also use the receiver components here that's also going to be times free we can use the protective
06:21fabric we can you we can use all of these so um you know do go through all of your
06:27resources if
06:28needed this week to get as high as expertise as you can because this is the week you want to
06:33do it
06:33people can really chunk this out and if you have the time people have gone no joke they've gone from
06:39low levels expertise to expertise level 30 in just a week and if this week it just hasn't landed a
06:45great
06:46time for you say you're a new player and you just don't have the resources uh you don't have the
06:51time or
06:51you don't have the watch levels or whatever uh going back to what i said at the start just wearing
06:57gear sets wearing brand sets wearing the skills just wearing the stuff you need is going to chunk
07:02out the proficiency levels this uh the week you will get gains just doing that alone but they do this
07:09event every single season so your goal from this week to next season say when this event comes back
07:16ground i'd say is to get as high a watch level as you can because this is definitely by far
07:23the
07:23easiest way to chunk out expertise on these events if you can get a lot of watch levels backed up
07:29so just farm watch levels when there's like a times free event coming around or times five xp event coming
07:34around get as many levels as you can because if you can back up your scavenging points for a couple
07:40of
07:40thousand then you're going to absolutely demolish the expertise during this week again you can
07:46see how quick prince of filament is is knocking this out so we'll do we'll do one more i got
07:52a pistol
07:52that i need to do again so we'll go and find that pistol i need to do and yeah it
07:58absolute chunks it
07:59during this week and for very little resource because it's times free just like that that's 10
08:06and if you've got lots of watch levels to back up you can just go through everything you need whether
08:10it's skills whether it's exotics named items whatever and you'll be able to knock that out
08:16like i said every season this gets a little bit easier because they add a new gear set which gives
08:22you a new gear set to make proficient and i've been at expertise level 30 a long time that's the
08:27cap and
08:28i've not had everything maxed out since i forget the exact amount of items you need to do
08:33to get expertise level 30 but it's not all 496 uh so that's everything i've got for you for this
08:40event it's the week to do it guys i hope you have uh got lots of prince of elements saved
08:45up or lots of
08:46watch levels uh to spare to backfill that prince of filament and if not like i said just wear those
08:52items drop the difficulty you've needed just put on as much items as possible that you need to make
08:58proficient and you'll get them proficient very very quickly good luck agents i hope a lot of you
