01:11From Dolores, he led accompanied by a small group, around 12 men.
01:17While he moved, they turned into dozens, and dozens turned hundreds, and hundreds thousands.
01:32When they got closer to Mexico City, they decided to withdraw, likely to avoid a massacre.
01:40And from there, he went to Guadalajara, where he established the first insurgent government.
01:45In those four months, only four months, that the outburst lasted, he listened to the people.
01:54Along the people, he built a political agenda.
01:59And most importantly, he abolished slavery.

03:10In the trial, before his execution, they tried to deletitimize his cause.
03:20However, Hidalgo remained firm in defense of his ideals, assuring that he worked following his conscience.
