00:00Hi, I'm Eduardo Nuret with Campus Reform.
00:01Today we're at the University of South Florida
00:03asking students if they think illegal immigrants
00:05should have access to taxpayer-funded free tuition.
00:08When the students tell me yes,
00:09I'm going to be asking them if they would be willing
00:11to put their own money towards the cause.
00:13Let's find out what they say.
00:14Do you believe education is a human right?
00:16Yes.
00:17Yes, because I believe everyone should have the opportunity
00:21to get access to education.
00:23Education is what lets people know about
00:29stuff.
00:31It's necessary.
00:32Education is for everyone.
00:34It's not just for selected people.
00:35Like, yeah, everyone should have the opportunity
00:37to at least get some type of education.
00:40Without education, a person is not able to
00:44experience what society has built to the fullest.
00:46Yes, absolutely.
00:47Education is the key to upward mobility.
00:50It's the key to life.
00:50It's the key to being successful.
00:52Without education, you don't know what's going on around you.
00:54You don't know what you need.
00:55Like, what you need to survive, basically.
00:58So, yeah, absolutely.
00:59Education is definitely a human right.
01:00We've heard a lot of discussions recently in the news
01:02and politics about, you know, using taxpayer money
01:04for free tuition for everyone.
01:06So, do you personally believe undocumented immigrants
01:07should have access, should have taxpayer free tuition?
01:11Absolutely.
01:11I think undocumented immigrants have a negative connotation
01:15attached toward them.
01:16And that's, they come to this country seeking a better life.
01:18I actually do agree because I believe everybody should have
01:23an equal opportunity to get the right education.
01:26These kind of resources shouldn't be limited to people
01:28that are documented.
01:30If it is a human right, then we naturally have to give it
01:32to the immigrants, right?
01:34If you do give education to the undocumented immigrants,
01:37you're going to increase the quality of the labor force.
01:40So, that's going to result in a higher GDP
01:43and it's going to benefit the economy.
01:44Would you support free college for undocumented people
01:47in this country?
01:48Yeah, definitely.
01:49I would.
01:50Yeah, 100%.
01:50I think it's very difficult for a lot of undocumented children
01:55to basically have a good stand in this country without it.
02:00It's not really fair for them.
02:02Yeah, and who's going to pay for that?
02:07I mean, our debt is already exploding enough, right?
02:12We need to be cutting spending drastically.
02:17And you want free schooling, which isn't really free.
02:23Somebody's paying for it somewhere.
02:24You know, I love when people say, oh yeah, it's free.
02:28Even from like these other countries when people say,
02:30well, so-and-so's country has free healthcare.
02:33No, nobody.
02:35It's not free.
02:37They're taxed at like 60%.
02:3960% of their check is going to the government.
02:43That ain't free.
02:45That's a, we're going to take your money before you get it
02:49so we can pay for this healthcare
02:51so you feel like it's free.
02:53But it's not free.
02:56They're taxing the crap out of these folks.
02:59So yeah, somebody's got to pay for it.
03:02The healthcare workers aren't going to be there working for free.
03:05Right?
03:05Those buildings, those facilities, they don't build themselves for free.
03:10Like those guys aren't working to put those buildings together for free.
03:14The supplies, the utensils, I mean everything.
03:18They're not getting that stuff made and shipped for free.
03:22All of that cost.
03:25You're paying for that still.
03:28You may not pay per visit,
03:31but you're paying per check instead.
03:34Which in a way, I feel like that was probably worse.
03:38Like every check you're having to pay for it.
03:40Not just whenever you need to use it.
03:43I myself would argue that immigrants deserve,
03:46be it illegal,
03:47they deserve education as a human right.
03:50Because I truly, truly believe that the amount of illegal immigrants
03:54compared to the resources this country has,
03:57they cancel each other out to provide enough education for everyone.
04:01I think it's always nice to help people.
04:04I'm never against helping people,
04:05whether they're documented or not.
04:10I'm with it.
04:11100% to be honest.
04:13And they deserve that human right of education.
04:15So I'm glad you said that because something we're doing today
04:17is we are trying to raise money for tuition for undocumented immigrants
04:21since they don't have access.
04:22So would you be willing to give some money for that tuition?
04:25If I did, I definitely would.
04:27But your girl is broke.
04:28So yeah.
04:31Oh, yeah.
04:32I knew that was coming.
04:33So as long as everybody else has to pay for it,
04:36it's a great idea.
04:37But if I have to pay for it,
04:38no thanks.
04:40Right.
04:41Right.
04:42As long as it's not on my front doorstep to deal with,
04:45it's great.
04:46It's fine.
04:47It's dandy.
04:47But the moment that it's on my front doorstep
04:49and I have to deal with it,
04:51it's a problem.
04:54Hypocrisy at its finest, man.
04:55Pass on that one.
04:57But it's a human right, though.
04:58It is a human right.
04:59Absolutely.
05:01Do you think you're violating their human rights then
05:03by not chipping in?
05:05Emotional appeal.
05:07Well, I mean, no.
05:09It's a human right for me to say no, right?
05:10And since they can't get it through taxpayer dollars,
05:12would you guys be willing to contribute?
05:14I would love to,
05:15but I don't have cash on me right now.
05:17I don't have cash on me either right now,
05:18but I would love to.
05:19Do you guys have Venmo?
05:21I don't.
05:22I don't.
05:23I don't have money on me, though.
05:25Oh, you don't have money on you?
05:26What about Venmo?
05:26I mean, come on,
05:27because education is a human right.
05:29You don't have Venmo?
05:30No.
05:31Because you seemed interested,
05:32would you be willing to give money?
05:34I have no cash.
05:34I have no cash on me at all.
05:37Venmo?
05:39Sure, yeah.
05:39I'll give a Venmo.
05:41Right now,
05:41I have my bulls card in my pocket
05:43and I haven't eaten in two days
05:45because I have no money.
05:46In fact,
05:46it shouldn't be my duty
05:47to raise the money.
05:48Right.
05:48To tell you that.
05:49This country has more than enough money
05:52distributed in the hands of
05:53the wrong individuals.
05:54Right.
05:56Right, right, right, right.
05:58Shout out to Campus Reform, man.
06:00Shout out to Campus Reform
06:02exposing, you know,
06:03these folks
06:03because once again,
06:05and you know,
06:05I talked about this with,
06:06you know,
06:07like the white liberals
06:08when they get out here
06:09and they chant,
06:12you know,
06:12defund the police,
06:14defund the police.
06:15Yeah,
06:15that's because you don't live
06:17in the areas
06:17that need the police the most.
06:20So it's easy for you to say,
06:22living behind your gate,
06:25you know,
06:25in your,
06:26in your gated community,
06:28it's easy for you to say,
06:30you don't have to deal
06:31with the gunshots
06:33and the drug dealing
06:35and the homeless,
06:37you know,
06:37drug addicts
06:38that are walking up
06:39and down the street.
06:39You don't have to deal with that.
06:43You don't experience that
06:44on a day-to-day basis.
06:46People who live in those areas
06:47actually want the police.
06:49You know,
06:50I remember,
06:50Ami Horowitz
06:51actually made a video
06:52on that very topic
06:54where he was going around,
06:56you know,
06:57in the,
06:58you know,
06:58inner city
06:59asking black folks,
07:00like, yo,
07:01do you want to get rid
07:01of the police?
07:03What,
07:03what would you say
07:04to like not having
07:05any type of police down here?
07:07And they're like,
07:07are you crazy?
07:08It'll be the wild,
07:09wild west down here.
07:10Like, no,
07:10that is,
07:11that is,
07:11that's,
07:13it's bonkers,
07:14right?
07:14And you can pull up this video.
07:15As a matter of fact,
07:16I think I checked it out
07:17with you all like,
07:19I don't know,
07:19a couple years ago,
07:20three years,
07:20maybe a few years ago
07:22at this point,
07:23three years ago.
07:24But anyway,
07:26yeah,
07:27it's the same type
07:28of situation or circumstance.
07:29As long as
07:30they don't have
07:31to deal with it,
07:32as long as
07:32it's not affecting them,
07:34it's a great idea.
07:36But I guarantee you,
07:38if those same white liberals
07:39were living in an inner city
07:40where there's all types
07:41of homeless folks,
07:43drug dealing,
07:44gunshots,
07:45the whole nine,
07:47they wouldn't be saying
07:48that stuff.
07:49They wouldn't be saying
07:50defund the police.
07:51These,
07:52as you saw,
07:52these folks here,
07:53oh yeah,
07:55free tuition
07:56for everyone,
07:57even the illegals,
07:58yeah,
07:58but the moment
07:59you ask them
08:00to chip in
08:01their hard-earned dollars,
08:03what they worked hard for,
08:05oh no,
08:06I don't have anything.
08:07I don't have any money.
08:09I shouldn't be
08:10responsible for that.
08:14Oh,
08:15so basically
08:16what you're saying
08:17is as long as
08:18you don't have to deal
08:18with it,
08:19it's great.
08:19You know,
08:20there was another video
08:22on,
08:23what was it?
08:24It wasn't tuition,
08:26it was,
08:28geez,
08:28I don't even remember now,
08:30but there was another
08:31situation that somebody
08:33had did,
08:33kind of similar to this,
08:35and it was the same outcome,
08:37right?
08:41The moment that they
08:42had to deal with it,
08:43I think,
08:44I think,
08:45I can't even think
08:46of his name now.
08:48Yeah,
08:49I can't think of his name,
08:49but he did some
08:51interviews where he
08:52was asking,
08:53you know,
08:53folks just randomly
08:54on the streets,
08:55should we allow
08:56illegals to
08:58stay in this country?
08:59And they were all like,
09:00yeah,
09:00he was like,
09:01well,
09:01I've got some illegals
09:03that need some housing,
09:04can they stay in your house?
09:06And every single person
09:09said no.
09:10For one reason or another,
09:12every single one
09:13that said,
09:14yes,
09:14we should allow these
09:15illegals to just stay here,
09:16when they were asked,
09:18hey,
09:18can you pitch in
09:19and allow them
09:19to stay in your house
09:20so they're not living
09:21on the streets?
09:23Every single one
09:24said no.
09:26Every single one.
09:27It's incredible.
09:28It really is.
09:30But it goes to show,
09:31man,
09:31these folks
09:32aren't actually serious.
09:34They're not serious.
09:35And a lot of them,
09:36I think,
09:37say this type of stuff
09:38so that they don't
09:39look bad
09:40or get canceled,
09:42which I think
09:42we need to get away
09:43from that
09:43because cancel culture
09:44is over.
09:46That type of stuff
09:46has been done,
09:47but yeah,
09:49man,
09:49y'all get in the comments.
09:50Let me know your thoughts
09:51and your opinions.
09:51And as always,
09:52stay safe out there.
09:53Peace and love.
09:54I'm out.
